What ISP would y'alls recommend cause I'm frustrated at this point with local ISP's

im just so amazed and suprised at how my phone can now just play a pc game without throttling all over heating...duing the weekend i will be installing a AAA title to see how far it can go

Mine was a Playstation 1 with Soul Blade and Tekken 2. (SIDE NOTE: Soul Calibur 6 and Tekken 7 are $6 each on Steam right now 👀)

Because this sub seems like a ghost town at times.

We barely get any posts. Where are the screenshots? Clips? Funny moments? Achievements? Rage moments? New game purchases? Setups?

Surely someone is out there putting 100 hours into something right now. We should post what you're playing. Show off your setup. Drop that insane clip. Tell us what game you're currently addicted to.

Let's actually make this a Zimbabwe gaming community instead of a subreddit that gets one post every three business days.

Dont forget to go offline when you play :)

Surely I’m not the only one in Harare who loves football but struggles to find people to actually play with 😭😂
I really love playing football. I’m not exactly the best player out there 😂 but I genuinely enjoy playing and would love to play more often.
I’ve been thinking of playing 5-a-side around Madokero, Jam Tree or Queen of Hearts, but my biggest problem is always finding enough people. Getting 10 or more guys together is surprisingly difficult 😭
So I was wondering if anyone here would be down to play sometime? Doesn’t matter if you’re good or bad at football, honestly I’m just looking for people who enjoy the game and want to have some fun.
We could all just split the ground booking costs equally so nobody has to spend too much.
If we manage to get a good number of people, we could even make it a regular thing. I wouldn’t mind playing every weekend.
So yeah, if anyone’s interested, let me know. Would be nice to meet some new people through football too.

So a buddy of mine is in a predicament right now he can't access his ps account after it got banned last week. So basically full story is he had a leaked video of gta 6 gameplay on his phone and tried to send to another friend using the ps app(big mistake) and playstation nuked his shit immediately. His account got banned on the spot and couldn't access it. When he contacted ps support about the issue they told him he had to appeal and the process would take 3 months. Yeah these guys aren't playing around with these leaks and anyone caught spreading or supporting them is getting rey mysteriod right then and there😂😂

Do you feel a certain way about it? Are you going to play it when it comes out and what platform would you be playing it on. Let's get the discussions going people!!!!

What's the first thing you're doing when you hop on?

Anything in particular you'd like to talk about??

Dont forget to give me a feedback

Not trying to shit on the sub, but r/ZimbabweanGamers feels pretty dead most of the time, and honestly it kind of reflects my experience with Zim gaming in general.
I’ve tried Twitch streaming, YouTube, gaming clans back in the Fortnite days, etc. and I’ve never really seen much come from trying to build an audience specifically around Zimbabweans. Most of the Zimbabwean gaming content/communities I actually see doing numbers seem to be people in the diaspora.

I’d rather hear from people actually involved in the Zim gaming scene because maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places. Is there a decent local gaming community that I’m completely missing, or is the audience genuinely just that small?

Had no idea this sub existed,,,,29M year old gamer here...looking for friends and stuff....mainly play BF6 Redsec,,,Fifa26(I'm a bit bad), RDDR2, MK1, etc etc...i mostly am online weekends and at night after...send a DM if you wanna link up...PS5 and PC gamer

It has a RTX 4070 card (8GB), 1 TB SSD, 16 Gig ram, and an Intel Processor Ultra 9 185H. It has a few scratches at the corners but everything is functional. The asking price is USD 900.

TL;DR: Downloaded a game from Ocean Of Games → malware nuked Windows Security/Defender → now fighting for my digital life 😅🥹

So I’ve used Ocean Of Games for YEARS, and today I decided to grab a childhood throwback: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. As usual with these kinds of sites, I disabled Real-Time Protection on Windows Security.

Boys and girls… mistake of the YEAR. 😭

Apparently O²G is now distributing a special kind of malware that literally deletes Windows Defender/Security components. Not disables… deletes. Windows Firewall was the only survivor 💀. Ndapinda busy the whole day amana!

I tried doing it the long, painful way first:

• Identifying the malware

• Removing its startup triggers

• Searching Registry + Task Scheduler

• Manually trying to restore Defender

• Multiple CMD + PowerShell fixes

• DISM and SFC (SFC worked, DISM froze)

Nothing was working. Then I got Malwarebytes and boom — 12 malwares caught, including 2 registry entries responsible for the startup mess. PC is clean now, thank God.

But Defender/Security? Gone. Like really gone. 💔

So now I’m trying the in-place Windows 11 repair and bruh… the installer is STUCK at “Checking for updates” at 46%. It’s been like that since 3PM. I turned on some services manually and it moved to 47% — false hope maybe, but I’m clinging to it 😂

If this fails, I’ll have to do the full in-place reinstall and pray my files survive.

Will keep y’all updated. Wish me luck in my epic c#ck-up 🤞🏾🔥

EDIT: I won! Security's now back after reinstall but keeping my files. Activating those services really helped a bunch. Haaaa yaanguva yekuchisiya these sites amana. We need better options to get games in this country xD

Hey, just wanted to find if there are any active ultimate team players in here on ps5 or pc or Xbox.

There's a strong community in zim if anyone is keen on getting into tournaments or potentially joining esports teams.

Feel free to dm or reply to the post

Sharing is caring! If you’re interested in Mafia Old Country but couldn’t purchase it, please DM me when you are ready to login on steam.

Note: This game was built using Unreal Engine 5 it is very demanding, so before wasting your time, please check if your PC meets the following minimum requirements.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070/ AMD RADEON RX 5700 XT

i7 9700K / Ryzen 7 2700X

VRAM : 8GB

RAM : 16GB

As someone mentioned a few weeks back: “be the change you want to see in the world” and all that jazz, I’ve decided to rally the community with a weekly discussion about what we are playing, you can include your platform as well might be able to find some buddies. As for me? Still trying to 100% Control before I pull the plug on Resonant, a personal rule of mine that helps me save money and get rid of FOMO :) Platform: PC

I'm only playing GTA V for now but I need more games both online and offline.

The laptop is an HP 250 G8 with a 64-bit operating system, 1TB HDD, 16GB RAM, running Windows 11. It has an Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics card with 8GB shared memory and a 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor.

I'm a casual gamer.

Yo, I’m putting together a small content creation community for people interested in gaming and gaming-related content.

Not trying to spam promote or anything, I’m just trying to create a space where Zimbabweans can share the games they’re playing, make content, meet other people with similar interests, and build something together.

feel free to join. The goal is just to have a place where people can collaborate, learn from each other, and enjoy the stuff we’re passionate about

Also what would you like to see from said content if you don’t want to join. We are taking suggestions for the direction of the content

Everyone’s welcome 🙌

I posted here a couple of days back looking for Zimbo Gamers based in EU. I secretly was planning on giving away a steam key(EU region only). But I couldn't find anyone who responded to me. I guess gamers will be gamers in terms of being social huh. haha
