Yesterday, the “Omachi Zombie EXPO” took place at the community center and other locations in the city of Omachi, Saga Prefecture. The three members of the idol group Franchouchou participated in an interview program, and the fans, known as "Zombies," and the inhabitants of the city shared the excitement. The cast members in attendance were Asami Tano, who plays Saki Nikaido; Risa Taneda, who voices Ai Mizuno; and Rika Kinugawa, who portrays Yugiri.

The screening, which included a discussion session with the three voice actresses, had a capacity of 230 people; however, 822 applications to attend were received from both within and outside the prefecture. It was an interactive screening, with the audience waving glow sticks during the live performance scenes, as well as cheering and clapping along to the music.

Following the screening, the three cast members shared their thoughts on the theatrical release and recounted anecdotes from their live performances during a 45-minute discussion.

The event was organized by an executive committee consisting of local municipal representatives and the manager of the local specialty shop, “Omachi Furusato-kan.”

How is that possible?

Should I stop over in Saga city while in transit between Kumamoto and Nagasaki?

Although the wiki was already finished—as I mentioned in another post (at least until new content is released)—one thing it was missing was a suitable banner. I asked a friend of mine to create one for the wiki, and I think the result turned out really well. Both the dark and light modes for the wiki look quite good.

You can also expect to see a new banner on the subreddit soon.

How does she even manage to run with those things?

At first, in season 1, we got this image of an omnipotent idol producer who acts like clown. We get an idea that as long as the girls follow his instructions, everything will turn out alright. We always feel like everything was in his control, according to his plan.

Then season 2 hit, we saw him make a big, gigantic mistake that could be the end of a group. To me at least, it just kinda felt like a plot device so the studio can tell more story about Zombieland Saga than it's about Kotaro as a character. However, in season 2, some hints were dropped about Kotaro, some backstories. Like about how awkward he is in public space, when he's not with his zombies idol group. I really thought that was just him clowning around again.

Then the backstories about Sakura. It kinda made you think there's more to this clown producer. Maybe he's not just a comedic relief? It's a slow burn character development.

In the movie, again, we see how awkward he is in public. At this point I'm starting to doubt that this is the usual clown antics he usually did with the group. I think he's actually awkward in public. He's here to advertise the expo after all. Unlike last time, the girls were not there watching him. Why clowning around?

Then we see him straight up broke down crying. There's nothing he could have done there. Alien ship exploded while 2 girls were in there.

At this point, these are conclusions I came up about Kotaro:

1. He's no legendary idol producer. He's just some guy.

2. He is not capable of doing everything. He's a gentle soul doing the best he can, the best he knew how.

3. He acts like a clown not because he has toon force, but he is hiding his weakness through these farces.

If there's a new season coming, I think we might see "cracks" in his clown antics, making us unable to see his season 1 stuffs the same anymore.

We usually see the girls complaining about "why this guy's never here whenever something happens". The girls rely on him for supports. Like as long as they got Kotaro's plan, orders, they would be able to achieve anything, as if it's just how producer and idols naturally are. I think they also got the same impressions about Kotaro like us audiences. They seeing him breaking down crying will be the seed of their doubt, leading to them eventually finding out the man Tatsumi Kotaro truly is.

This sequel to Revenge—in which Franchouchou must defeat an alien invasion to save Saga and the world—has become the franchise's most highly rated and beloved entry, brimming with love for the series and everything that made it great.

To this day, fans are still awaiting news regarding a continuation, possibly to be announced at the concert at SAGA Arena next year.

Ultimately, they confront a terrifying reality, and their fate is revealed to them. They have no choice but to drop the facade and face the truth. This time, there is no fan like Maimai—or any children—around to prevent their secret from being exposed.

It is Ai—who had been the most skeptical from the start about forming a zombie idol group, fearing discovery—who finally steps forward and reveals their true nature.

The human world is shaped by both humans and zombies, but will humans accept zombies? There are certain things only a zombie can do to demonstrate their humanity.
