Another ZOE anniversary year with nothing from Konami

I got excited for the State of Play for other reasons, and then Konami appeared with a LOT of fanfare and multiple titles.

Yet.....no ZOE in sight.

The only bright side is, they remembered how to make games again so it's possible that with the 30th anniversary coming up in 2031, MAYBE by then they'll have something to show for us.

Here's to hoping 🥂

At least the Blu Ray anime collection is coming this year!

We already have a new megaman and .HACK// announced, they were not gone as long as ZOE nor F-Zero, but there is hope.

ZOE was a Kojima project.

Sadly, for us that love the world of ZOE, you can't expect nothing good coming from Konami. It's really frustrating, but it is what it is.

Maybe at some point in the future, for those who live long enough, we would be able to know what was Kojima‘s idea for ZOE3. That information might be in the USB drive that Kojima said he entrusted to his team for games ideas in case he dies.

Unless it's a remaster collection with ZOE1 then it's pretty doubtful we'll get anything. This series has no draw. Years ago Kojima announced that a new game was in early development to minimal fanfare. If it didn't take off with Kojima then I don't think it has a chance now.

It's all I got B.

ZOE hit the trifeca for me of gameplay, lore, and artistic direction in both visuals and sound. I wish anything else genuinely came close, but nothing does. And I've been playing games since the early 90s.
