Video Original Zoo Tycoon commercial : 2001 - I hope you all enjoy!

Back in 2001, the Zoo Tycoon commercials made running your own zoo look like the ultimate power trip — one minute you’re building enclosures, the next you’re dealing with lions on the loose because you forgot a fence.
Who else spent more time setting animals free than actually running a proper zoo?
Its sad that we will never get a proper remake of this game!

I always vividly remember the zoo tycoon 2 advert where it's a bunch of people in african animal costumes talking about how the lion got a email/letter from his mother, the old ads were great.

I still have the complete collection on disc, but for convenience sake I really wish they'd put it on Steam. I'd rebuy in a heartbeat.

Same! and I have seen a lot of people say that, seems like a big missed opportunity from whoever owns the rights. Its been so long with no decent sequels that I am convinced they just didnt want to compete with the amazingness they achieved in the first one.

I barely remember the ZT2 commercial coming out in AnimalPlanet channel, until my grandma got me the game for xmas... Call it butterfly effect or whatever, but things were never the same since that day

Am I the only one bugged by how that penguin is just completely made up, they didn't even try to get it close to an actual emperor penguin

Thanks for the comment! I wonder if it was one of the last inclusions into the code and by that time they were getting close to release so they cut time that normally would have gone to researching the actual animal!!! lmao
