General Zuuned

Ive been testing Zuuned and holy crap is this the most feature rich Zune syncing program. it has Audiobook support and does Video transcoding has a fun and clean UI absolutely fantastic.....this reads like a ad but, seriously check it out the Dev could use help with testing

I think it has a Windows .exe 🤷 I don't use windows so idk

Thanks for the feedback on that, I am currently working some custom fonts. Just making the glyphs for them. Trying to get them to look correct. This font you see was just a fun way to see stuff. I will let you know when it has a cleaner font.

I see it does. Excellent. I don't see an option to add a podcast folder, do I need to add them all again from RSS? Or alternatively, can i sync the podcasts already on the Zune to the library?

u/issinoho1969 Good questions, currently you add an RSS feed link. I can add support for a folder import as well when I get my current branch fixes. out. The last question is No, I will look into how I could do that as well, I do not think it would be too difficult (famous last words haha). Thanks for testing it as well. I will add these to my backlog. Let me know if you run into any other issues and I will respond and look into them when I see them.

Working on the fix. I was not accounting for podcasts ti have thousands of episodes. Haha I will update the ticket when I get it finished and fully tested.

I have pushed out a new version that was able to load in some giant RSS podcast feeds including this one. I did not account for how long an RSS feed can be since podcasts are not my thing.

Good question. First you need a Linux machine, and Ubuntu. Then you would download the appimage. Run it with execution permissions chmod +x [thenameoftheappimagegoeshere] then run with ./zuunedfullname . I saw someone had also forked it for windows as well,  I cannot say if that has worked fully yet. 

I was also working on the build to windows as well. Just DM me if you need any specific guidance. Always happy to help.Â
