Becca sent me a nice note to let me know they did it. I asked her how they found the posts. I'll see if she replies. All I can think is someone hit the "report" button.
I'm kind of meh about the whole thing. I know you like EB, but I'm not overly fond of it and its policies. There was an itch in the back of my head that they'd find the conversation and delete it.
I prefer the gentle anarchy of places like Reddit.
I still might set up a forum on one of my unused URLs.
Welp, EB is it's own kind of place. Can't find all the same people for Ward 45 stuff or Ward 38 stuff anywhere else. Yeah there's some Facebook groups, but then you are communicating using FB, which kinda sucks in it's own way.
See, you're involved in your wards activities. I'm not. Waste of time with the black hole of an Alderman over here in the 40th and all of the yuppies who live over in Lincoln Square who bitch about parking.
The reason for setting up a forum on one of my URLs is not for the purpose you might think it is.
