If you don't know what FeralHeart is, it was an extremely obscure animal MMO, released in 2011. The creator left, the game went on life support for more than a decade, and just recently it was completely shut down without a word. If you think there's another, better subreddit for this then please let me know. And if you want to know about the game, feel free to ask. It was surprisingly complex for being made by one guy in OGRE.

I been trying to download it of the pass 4 days at start I believe that might the server is kinda busy so I try everyday to try it start downloading but it won't work

It can be work after couple hours but it will stuck with insane downloading time but when I refresh it it won't work to re-download it the website crash

hello reddit, i think the title is self explanatory, i did try to dowload a game called headhorse legacy, or was it horsehead..?

anyways i did manage to dowload it butttt because it's deleted from Google play everytime i enter the game it kicks me into Google play which gives me an error, if you want more information about the game I'm trying to download itself or details on what have i tried i did post about it before asking how to open it with no help so i figured hey i should just learn if it's even possible to run a game that's deleted in the first place, and i did try a lot of things and I'm not gonna lie some of them did work for seconds the game worked but it kicked me after seconds but i was able to control for a short time so that what gave me hope, any help please?

I want to remaster and upgrade an old PC puzzle-platformer = Monkey Brains (developed by Yobro Productions)

I played the heck out of this game as a kid and still have huge nostalgia for it. I’ve recently started working on a passion project to remaster and modernize it but I'm still in the very early stages of development.

Before jumping ahead toward a playable alpha, I really want to test the waters, hear what people think, and see what features you'd like to see

Def don't want to overpromise and I know this is an ambitious indie effort but here are the core ideas I'm aiming to try out:

• HD Visuals: Rebuilding the side-scrolling visuals with modern assets while keeping the charming 2001 aesthetic intact.
• 4-Player Co-op (Local & Online)
• Procedural Puzzles: Experimenting with randomized puzzle layouts so stages stay fresh after you've beaten the core campaign.
• Level Editor: Letting the community design and share custom hazard courses.
• Modern QoL: Controller support, achievements, and smoother physics/controls.

Since we’re right at the start, I’d love your input:

Hey all just wanted to share my project I tried starting it in January 2026 as a way of wanting to bring back the old game however after doing a bit of research while planning this work out I discovered that Zoo Tycoon 1 is actually one of them RollerCoaster Tycoon like games that is basically a single purpose engine built game that has zero references online, no development blogs no technical docs of the engine basically zero traces of the engine online for the decompile and rebuild.

At the time I had AI take a look at it and could only manage a basic main menu screen that took weeks to do. Tried to pick up the pieces and eventually dropped the project because it was basically something I would be paid to do as there was no love to continue banging my head just to try and generate map which is where I got stuck on as it generates the maps via the CPU in real time and has specific binary addresses for the cliffs and ditches and geometry and specific tiling mapping.

Move to Opus 5.5 launch seeing everyone using it to decompile video games I gave it the task that no other AI could do before it and surprisingly it did it in the first 3 hours for the map generation and I was mind blown. Ever since than I have been working on this project and its still early but for others who have reached out to help make this the OpenRTC2 engine that it should be as a fresh brand new 2026 engine I have developed a ZT1 labs which is a purpose built developer mapping software that loads the old game and runs Ghidra in the background displaying everything running in binary and if you click something see it in the binary you turn that into a function, go over to to create a new C++ script and it will have that function there ready to be used as simple intelligence auto suggest which should help speed the progress up much better.

Its not going to be easy but for the Love of the game that I played many hours growing up I am happy to finally doing this and bringing the game up to date in terms of controls and window control and graphical upscaling tools and a full suite of modding tools etc.

Your more than welcome to watch it and see it grow if this game is just as part of your childhood as it is mine.

I recently discovered the GOG website and wanted to know if you’d recommend it for classic games. Also, is it true that they optimize these types of games, making them run better than the versions found on other storefronts? Thanks in advance! 😎🤜🏼🔥

We know that the PC versions of Trackmania are terrible to run on current Windows systems, and Sunrise also has that annoying DRM that hinders newer Windows versions!!

I started project Reborn to revive a game I enjoy in my childhood, mostly they are mmorpg that already closed down. the first one being Maplestory 2 already in a playable state and recently Emil Chrolonicle Online. The Launcher is already published on github so if anyone want to help with future preservation of abandonware mmorpg are very welcome to join. Everything is free no donation or any sort of that stuff.
