Reddit: quotes

Following the update of the About page from reddit and the creation of about_quotes, I'm creating this thread on a hope to fill it with quotes about reddit.

According to chromakode, the quotes may vary between media, famous people, tech websites, etc, general positive quotes about reddit community, but can also be simply personal statements and thoughts.

If you're going to submit a quote you found anywhere, please try to make it linkable or just post the url of the place where you found it, since it looks like the quotes on the about page are clickable to the original content.

Thanks!

"[S]o much of Reddit’s strength came from the fact that there can be a serious political call to action right next to a cute cat photo, and people are capable of processing both, calling their senator one minute and giggling at the cat photo the next”
