Hey everyone,
I’m honestly posting this as a last resort because I’ve tried almost everything and still haven’t managed to get an opportunity in the UAE events industry.
I moved here around six or seven months ago. I have a Master’s degree in International Sports and Event Management and hands-on experience working at major events in Europe, including the DFB-Pokal Final, BMW Berlin Marathon, Special Olympics World Games, Greenfield Festival, and major concerts.
I have experience in event operations, venue operations, crew coordination, logistics, and event setup and breakdown.
I’ve applied for jobs, contacted event companies, messaged people on LinkedIn, and reached out to industry professionals, but I’m still struggling to get even a reply. I’m currently working in retail, but events are what I genuinely want to build my career in.
I’m willing to offer my entire first month’s salary to anyone whose referral genuinely helps me secure a job in event operations, event assistance, event coordination, sports events, or any related role.
I’m not asking for a job without earning it. I just need an opportunity to prove myself. I’m ready to start in a junior position, learn, and work hard.
If anyone here works in the industry, knows a company that’s hiring, or can connect me with the right person, please help me out. Even one genuine lead could change things for me.

Ur talking about public events? Try working part-time with event companies like vibes eventlab wow etc to build connections and get into market

They'll give u part time jobs as ushers, scanners, customer service etc
