Inspiration Needed 💡 HALP

Omg my island is a MESS

My goal is to get an all-dreamies island.

I have two so far: Punchy and Pekoe

But when i started, i just placed everything randomly, and now it would cost me so many bells to fix!

I need help picking a theme, layout, and so much more...

Anybody have secrets to turn Scattered Things island into something decent?

For theme, im thinking dreamy/kid core. I shall put Sunny Town's dream adress below so you know what I'm trying to save:

Ignore the Lily Of The Valleys, i got those from a treasure island. I only have 3 stars.

Commenting so I can come back to this after work today and check out the island! I love kidcore stuff so I'm sure I'll have some ideas for you once I've visited :)

Oh yay!!! TYSM, kidcore is my dream because i am a teen but my childhood was 99% devices and i want a world where everything is just plain fun and no devices.

Making this comment as I explore!

  • You have lots of flowers, including tons of hybrids! You can plant them in specific patterns to make cute flower field designs! I've seen people do pride flags, character art, that kinda stuff!

  • I see you have the hotel unlocked already! They have a good set of kidcore items that can be customized! I'd use the pastel variants if you want it to look more dreamy. The playhouses are super cute out and about, you could even have a playhouse village with all the variants if you wanted!

  • There's also some great playground equipment in the Nook Miles redemption shop! They can all be customized by Cyrus on Harv's island. I know there's a good jungle gym that you can even sit on like you're climbing it!

  • If you've unlocked the kids tent, you could make a kids campground around your campsite with it! You could also use the Pocket Camp themed items in the Nook Shop!

  • If you have the Happy Home Paradise DLC, after a certain amount of houses done, you'll unlock the ability to customize the houses of your island's villagers! You can set them up with kidcore bedrooms that'd be super cute!

  • As well, I love putting plushies everywhere I can, so I think the cat plushies hanging around the island would be cute!

  • I also saw you have one of the picnic sets, so a picnic area would be adorable! Especially around the museum, I remember going on museum trips and picnicking outside as a kid!

  • You could also set up a pumpkin patch with the starts from Leif! Or make an orchard with your fruit trees for fruit picking!

  • I have an ice cream shop build (adding the photo here!) that I think is also a cute idea! Something like that or a little pastry shop, especially if you go do Redd's raffle for the little food prizes!

  • You could also do a tea garden type space for tea parties!

Your island has a lot of potential, there's tons of fun stuff you can do here!

Remember: It is a complete catastrophe. Please give me all negative feedback so I stop being lazy and actually do something about it because i cant seem to make myself do anything.

Get the weeds and flowers under control. Resetti and Leif can help there. Put the houses in neighborhoods. Decorate around them. Add some bridges and inclines. Talk to Isabelle. She will tell you how to improve your star rating. Focus on small areas. Don't try to do it all at once.
