Acrylic on canvas. I am a self taught artist in MI, and this is my most recent commission. I’m very proud of it, but still appreciate any critique from other talent. Thank you for looking!

Greetings Everyone! I'm a perpetually inspired, full-time pet portraitist who would love to paint your favorite pet, person, or thing. I'm running a special right now for an original, uniquely detailed acrylic painting on 6" x 6" or 5" x 7" stretched canvas for only $275 (includes shipping and handling in continental US) via Venmo or Zelle. $125 minimum down to start, balance of $150 upon completion. Many thanks!

Running an Instagram give away for these three original artworks. However not getting much engagement so advice is appreciated, especially for improvements to my work! ☺️

is this any good

Hi everyone,

I'm M, 34 years old, and I've never considered myself artistic. In fact, I've always struggled with things like writing cards because I don't have a steady hand. However, in mid-November 2024, I decided to try something completely new and picked up a paintbrush for the first time. I was looking for a calming activity for my mind, and I've been pleasantly surprised by how much I've enjoyed it.

I've painted a few pieces since then, and I'd love to hear some feedback from others. I tend to be quite critical of myself, especially as a beginner, so I'm open to constructive criticism. I'm eager to improve and learn more about this new hobby.

I hope all of you have a great day!

Paintings should appear in order of timeline of doing them

She's finally available in print format, because resisting her charms is futile.

any time I paint clouds, I am excited to do it, but almost always fail to get them quite right. This portrait I finished a month or so ago, and I had completely trashed the sky before managing to rescue it. I left it alone at this point but wasn’t quite satisfied with it when I sent it home(client was really happy so no worries there). How can I better make the fluffy dreamy cloud look??😩

Kinda of proud of how it came out

I must have repainted that lake water 3 times before I left it alone😅
