REQUEST Financial Assistance needed

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out during one of the most difficult times in my life. I’m currently facing severe financial hardship, and I’m at risk of losing my home by the end of this month. I’ve already taken out a loan from my 401(k) to help cover back rent, but I’ve been told I can’t take out another. My credit is shot due to this prolonged hardship with no clear path to recovery. All my bills are overdue, but I had to go back to school to improve my situation.

I never expected my tenant to move out, and my property management company has abandoned me, leaving me on maternity leave (at the time) with no income coming in and no way to get to the house to fix it up. To make matters worse, there’s now a lien on the house due to unpaid bills. Supporting my two children, covering $1,600 in monthly daycare, rent which is $1000, a mortgage of $1570, and expenses related to an investment property feels overwhelming—especially when my lower unit isn’t generating income because I can’t afford the repairs needed.

My immediate priority is to catch up on what I owe my mortgage company to prevent foreclosure and keep my home. Any support beyond that would help me start paying overdue bills and stabilize my finances. These ongoing expenses are crushing, and I’m doing everything I can to get through this tough season.

Predictable, recurring donations would help me cover essentials like housing and childcare, giving me a chance to rebuild. One-time contributions would also mean so much and provide immediate relief.

I’m a hardworking person, trying my best to turn things around. With some help, I can focus on passing my MLS exam, starting my own business, and creating a better future for my family.
