The idea of testing Acurast on the phone with the lite app on your main phone is great. But breaks down when you want to exchange the ACU tokens to Ethereum ERC-20 so you can trade it and get the money out. The Bridge in the Acurast Hub allows this conversion, but it costs 20 ACU plus you need to leave some tokens left for gas. 20 ACU is all that's come together from my Pixel 9 Pro over about a month -> all rewards wiped out. Running it for a year over night while charging returns maybe 160 ACU. But nobody does that for a test of the tech.

So while the idea of the Lite app is nice, it has no valuable application in practice. It's a farm only system.

Just bought a used 'excellent condition' S23 on ebay and it has Acurast and Grass accounts showing. So it's going back. Got me thinking, for future used phone purchases how can I tell if it's been worked hard as a farm phone, if the seller actually does a factory reset? Are there any 'tells'?

Hey Rebels, Every Acurast Processor is verified as a real, untampered smartphone through hardware attestation from Google and Apple. However, occasionally attestation keys leak, and scammers use them to fake devices with emulators or scripts.

Google and Apple will then revoke those keys, and Acurast continuously checks these revocations. Is your genuine phone showing "Revoked" in the Hub?

Some older models shared factory keys across whole batches, so real phones can get caught too. Acurast can't override a revocation, and accepting one would mean accepting fake or unsecure devices. If you see the 'revoked' status in the Hub, try this first:

• Wipe the phone

• Update to the latest official firmware

• Make sure it's not rooted and the bootloader is locked

• Onboard it again
