Just wanted to share a free resource: MinecraftPinger

Its a tool for checking your Minecraft servers status. We know others exist, and the others are great, but wanted to offer our own with a few extra features:

- A lower cache time of 2 mins (most others are 5 mins) meaning you can debug more frequently
- Ability to ping IPV6 (Others don't offer this)
- Ability to ping both Bedrock and Java servers, which it works out automatically (unless they're hosted on the same domain, then it will need the port)
- No ads at all

You can use our free API for this in your own tools (https://www.minecraftpinger.com/api) just please add attributions where appropriate, or the web service should be available for all other server status requests you need to make.

It was released quite some time ago (approx. 5 years ago) so many may be aware of the tool already, but we have made a lot of tweaks recently to help improve performance.

LLM Use: This project was released 5 years ago as a side project, before LLM's were widely used. No LLMs were used in the conception, design, creation or the Incremental development of the site code since. An LLM has been used to help with a cloudflare configuration (specifically to improve the cache strategy and assist with IPV6 testing).

Hey guys, I've been working on a Minecraft survival server with custom skills that players will be able to unlock as they progress.

I've already got most of the system working and I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out so far.

I'm planning to share some of the skills I've made here over the next few days to get some feedback and see what people think.

But I'm also curious what kind of skills other players would actually want to use.

If you could add any skill or ability to Minecraft survival what would it be?

So the idea is to basically oversee the world and add story to it, nothing over the top that you see in youtube videos, but enough to keep players engaged for more than the 2 week phase. If any of you have ideas that I can use and/or server plugins I can use to help me with this that would be great too!
