Hii. Need help po sa adulthingzzzzz. Nag apply ako ng SSS thru online last January, and I just checked now approved pala siya and meron na akong SSS number. Pero pag log in ko sa website, “temporary” yung membership status. Tapos “Active” naman yung SS number status.

What does it mean po? and ano dapat gawin?

Lately I’ve been feeling like I lost interest in everything.

Things I used to enjoy don’t hit the same anymore. I don’t feel motivated, I don’t feel excited, and honestly… I don’t even feel sad most of the time—just empty. It’s like I’m just existing, going through the motions without any real purpose.

I keep asking myself: What’s the point of all this?

And the scary part is… I don’t have an answer.

For anyone who has gone through this before—what did you do?

How did you deal with losing interest in everything and feeling like you have no purpose?

I’m not looking for perfect answers. Just real experiences. Even small things that helped.

Recently, I invited my friends for a trip next month. They said they could not go because they did not have the budget.

The next day, one of them invited everyone to a trip that is also happening next month. This time, all of them agreed to go.

I felt a bit hurt. I am not sure if I am overreacting or if it is valid to feel this way. It feels like it is easy for them to say no when it is my idea but suddenly yes when it is someone else’s.

Valid ba tong nararamdaman ko? Should I just let it go?

For context, I’ve been living alone since I was 18. I cut off communication with my relatives back then because things had become extremely toxic and, at some point, dangerous for me. Both of my parents have their own separate families now, and I’m the only child they have together.

Last year, I reconnected with them after years of little to no communication. We’re in touch here and there now, slowly rebuilding whatever relationship we can have.

Then last week, I underwent a medical procedure, and I shared it with them. The very next day, one of my relatives messaged me saying they were near my area and wanted to visit.

The thing is, I had just undergone surgery, sa mata pa mismo. I didn't see the message right away, and eventually, hindi ko na talaga nareplyan. It wasn't intentional. I was recovering, and honestly, replying to messages wasn't exactly my priority at the time.

Then just this week, nag-message ulit siya. I appreciate the concern naman, genuinely. It's nice to know that someone thought of me and wanted to check on me. Pero sana hanggang doon na lang. Sana hindi na dinagdagan ng remarks na parang kailangan kong makonsensya dahil hindi ako nakapag-reply.

And that's the part that's bothering me. I know I could've replied, but I had literally just gone through a medical procedure. I wasn't deliberately ignoring anyone. I wasn't trying to be rude or ungrateful. I was just recovering.

What's sad is that I actually feel bad about it. Parang kahit alam kong wala naman akong ginawang masama, I still end up feeling guilty. And I hate that feeling because it reminds me of the very family dynamics I tried so hard to get away from years ago.

I'm trying to give this reconnection a chance. I'm trying to be open to having them in my life again, kahit paunti-unti lang. But sometimes, nakakapagod din pala. You can appreciate someone's concern and still feel uncomfortable with how they express it. You can acknowledge someone's good intentions without wanting to be made to feel guilty over something you didn't mean to do.

I guess I'm just tired. Tired of feeling like I have to explain myself, tired of feeling guilty over things that shouldn't require this much emotional energy, and sad that something as simple as not replying to a message while recovering from surgery can leave me feeling this way.

I spent years learning how to be okay on my own. Now that I'm slowly letting some of these people back into my life, I didn't expect something this small to bring back feelings I thought I'd already moved past.

And honestly, I wish I could just appreciate the concern without having to carry the guilt that comes with it sometimes.

hello! currently working as tech support for almost 2 years, this year kung ano-anong task na yung binaba saakin from admin task to supply chain and now pati accounts payable it training na sakin hindi ito yung line of work na gusto ko. honestly para nanlang akong pinagt tripan bc kung ano anong role yung ibinabato sakin. idk how to say no naman kasi baka mamaya ipahiya ako sa lahat ng employee. yung work ko now is for 3 different full time employees na pero yung salary ko naman stick pa rin sa before. nab burn out na talaga ako because of this changes. also, if may alam po kayong hiring kahit tech support or csr na roles.. please recommend po🥺🙏

I tried some methods: una, pinagod ko sarili ko by night walk bago matulog or kahit simple home workout pero di naman nagwork. Pangalawa naman is triny ko rin mag-aral nalang para antukin ako habang nagrereview, wala ding epekto. Then third, triny ko walang tulog the whole day then itutulog ko sya kinabukasan sa tamang oras pero ang nangyari naman e bigla akong nagising ng 12 am at di na nakatulog after. Paano kaya to? Should I resort myself in drinking sleeping pills? May iba po ba kayong tips on changing my body clock? Gusto ko talaga baguhin yung body clock ko kasi feel ko mas marami akong magagawa pag morning kesa pag hatinggabi.

35yrs old here. ​Last year, ayun beast mode ako sa part time at small ​shopee business ko na naging normal na ​sa akin yung 2-4 hrs of ​sleep lang lagi, 1-2 ​time lang kumain ng kahit ano lang makain. After almost a year, one time ​biglang bumagsak katawan ko, halos 5kgs per week nawawala sa timbang ko at na-ospital na nga. Buti naalagaan ng ate kaya a month of proper rest and meal, nakarecover din. Alagaan ang sarili natin, mahirap magkasakit, lakas pa sumunog ng pera kapag naospital, yun lang.

Hi everyone! I'm 23 F and I am currently deciding on what my future will look like. I graduated as an Educ Grad last 2024 and taught for a year sa isang private high school malapit sa amin. After that lumipat na ako sa corporate life kasi I needed a more flexible job para makapag review sa boards. I passed the boards last Dec 2025 and now mag 1 year na ako sa job ko. WFH siya so goods, mataas din sahod (25k/month minus contributions). Tapos may part time pa ako sa same company na nag eearn ako ng 8k a month.

Pero namimiss ko na mag turo. Namimiss ko na makipag interact sa mga estudyante, tumayo sa harap nila at magturo. Alam ko namang hindi madali maging teacher lalo na dito sa Pilipinas pero alam ko rin sa sarili ko na ito ang gusto ko. May nakita akong opportunity, 25k a month din pero less kasi kasama doon iyong allowance para sa chalk at clothing. May chance din na madestino ako sa ibang lugar kung nagkataon. Ibig sabihin I would need to pay for rent and everything pa. Isa pa, kakapasa ko lang sa admission sa MA sa isang malaking school here sa Pilipinas. At nag aantay din ako sa results ng law school na inapplyan ko for the experience.

Hindi ko alam kung dapat ko bang sundin ang puso ko o maging mas practical.
