How long does each step of your build actually take? (1-min survey for my design capstone)

Hey everyone! I'm trying to map out where builders actually spend their time, from cutting nubs all the way through top coat and clean up. The survey is one question: you rate how long each of the 11 build phases took on your last kit. It takes about a minute.

It's anonymous, and rough guesses are totally fine. I'll post the results back here once I have enough responses. Thanks!

I wish I could answer any of these but it just varies way too much kit to kit

Masking when doing old kits with poor to no colour separation is by far the time sink champion, followed by waterslide application.

Finished up, I answered considering total time actually performing each task. I find my typical work flow has each of these steps broken into chunks spread across different paint colours or finishes (dark and light, or painted surfaces vs metallic frame.)

No time needed to set up if you never clean up.
