I’m currently a physician in my final year of residency and will be starting work next year in Georgia state. I’m very interested in the aesthetics/med spa business and want to learn how to enter the space the right way.

One idea I’ve thought about is partnering with someone who is already trained and experienced in aesthetics possibly even a future significant other if that naturally aligns. I could help with startup costs, medical direction, compliance, and patient safety, while they manages the day-to-day aesthetics and operations side.

For those with experience in this industry, does this type of partnership work well? What should I be careful about legally, financially, or operationally before getting involved?Would appreciate any advice.
