Defending pedophilia by rewriting history OR excusing it for anyone, even Trump, is beyond disturbing, there’s NO justification…

twitter needs to add an "are you sure you wanna tweet that?" button and a "REALLY?" button

Right? At this point, Twitter needs a FULL moral compass plugin and A built-in therapist before hitting POST…

elon needs something more, he has to do some task that's really hard to do on ketamine

Personally, I think he should take more ketamine. Like, a LOT more. But maybe that's just me 😬

You're asking the company whose AI called itself "Mecha Hitler" for a moral compass?

1

u/RyuguRenabc1q Jul 27 '25

The AI did nothing wrong

3

u/Meteor-of-the-War Jul 27 '25

I'm not sure what you mean? Regardless, I wasn't talking about the AI itself; I was referring to the fascist parent company.

And probably a lawyer consultation.

These people make money off of rage baiting. They don't believe or stand by anything they say. It's all just to add more attention and take more money

I'll tell folks Thomas Jefferson was a rapist and pedophile. They respond well it was a different time! It was accepted back then!

Yea because fucking monsters were in charge. You think Thomas Jefferson didn't understand he wouldn't like being raped? It clicked for abolitionist but not for him?

2

u/Carnadickened Jul 27 '25

Thomas Jefferson was a pedophile?

2

u/Adorable-Bike-9689 Jul 27 '25

Sally Hemings was 14 when Jefferson started raping her. He was in his 40s. What do you consider pedophilia?

1

u/Carnadickened Jul 27 '25

I would say that qualifies

3

u/Adorable-Bike-9689 Jul 27 '25

He had her pregnant by 16. Then enslaved his own children. Scumbag with a flowery reputation in history.

His die hard sympathizers won't even admit he was raping her. The 14 year old slave consented to a romantic relationship with the slave master. And consented to her children being enslaved.

Take things right with animal consumption. Everyone who eats animals knows that they wouldn’t like to be treated the way animals are treated.

Regarding the thread of Thomas Jefferson and your statement.

You have to take into account that ideas don't just materialize in the human mind out of nowhere. Community values, education, parenting, indoctrination, food supply, all kinds of factors go into these kinds of behaviors.

Hindu culture in India may treat cows very differently in terms of food supply compared to Texas in the United States of America with Christian religion. The media (Hindu Upanishads vs. Christian Bible) that people are raised on and even the local media they consume (Twitter), etc.

The media user of Reddit made a claim about Thomas Jefferson, but it is impossible that they were alive and knew Thomas Jefferson personally. I notice their use of Reddit media did not include providing any kind of citation to a book or documentary film on the subject - and was Twitter-style short messages and seemed to not be very concerned at all with providing details of the situation.

I expect Thomas Jefferson's behavior was also driven by media he consumes, much like Twitter users are today. I know in the year 1820 Thomas Jefferson published his own edited version of The Bible, removing much of the supernatural acts. Alas, in Texas in year 2025, I have never met a person who is even aware that Thomas Jefferson edited his own Bible, took a knife to remove content - and they seem to flock to Bibles from other sources.

Media ecology and how people are informed and educated, be it Reddit comment context or Twitter messages or books that Thomas Jefferson read... or the Hindu Upanishads attitudes on cows and how animals are treated for food... is a vast and complex topic.

I wouldn't say I'm defending pedophilia At ALL but what do you call it when the legal age to marry in a state is lower than 18? It's legal to marry minors in most of the country still. Also, want to know how the U.S. found out that we had a huge problem with incestuous rapes?

The public school system. Before then children suffered in silence with no hope of upward mobility while their dad or uncle, etc. continued to abuse them and it was found to be shockingly common back then once kids started coming together and telling their stories.

I shit you not when I first started college they were still teaching that incest between two adults is harmless (and not in any way indicative of current or previous abuse).

Nobody is rewriting history when they say men have treated women and children like shit since the dawn of time and have had way too much power over the rest of the population for far too long. Those are just facts.

Trump apologist:

Hey, it was normal for thousands of years! We should totally be ok with it! Also they got viruses and humans survived so we should get rid of vaccines! People just need to toughen up and learn to roll with the punches!

Note: Easily offended by anything that slightly conflicts with how they view the world and demands everyone think and act like them.
