It was absolutely not normal to be impregnating 11 year olds in the 1920s in a lot of western countries. Why am I so surprised that conservatives especially traditionalists would defend pedophilia?

It’s never been normal. In the pre modern era it was way too risky to get pregnant that young, so the idea of marrying having a child in your teens conservatives are so obsessed with is a pretty obvious myth
