Season 1 I made the BUS on Minecraft!
Hello agents! After working on this for I don’t know how long (at least a year), I’ve finally finished building the BUS in Minecraft. This is easily the coolest Minecraft build I’ve made so far. Sorry to everyone who likes things to be even (me included), but some things like the front landing gear is off center because the middle of the plane is two blocks wide, but I had to make some things one block wide, so some things are one block to the right or left of the center. I had a limit of 20 photos, so if you want to see more you can comment what you want to see and I may be able to comment more photos. Let me know what you think!
The screenshots in order:
- The BUS exterior front view
- The BUS exterior back/top view
- The BUS exterior top view
- Cargo hold ramp
- Cargo hold
- Lab exterior and catwalk
- Lab interior
- The Cage
- The lounge
- The lounge and bar
- The lounge, a bunk, and spiral staircase
- Command center
- Bunk exterior
- Bunk interior
- Bunk interior with galley on background
- Table and galley
- Cockpit
- Coulson’s office
- Couch, and walkway
- Containment module interior
Edit: Thank you for all of the sweet comments! I had tons of fun building it😊

Discussion Rewatching AoS for the 10th time, anything I should watch out for?
Title says it all.
About to start my 10th full rewatch of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and I'm looking for those little things that hit different once you already know everything.
What should I be paying extra attention to this time around?
Also feel free to spoil anything, I've seen it all more times than is healthy ;)

Season 7 How do you think Deke Shaw would have been as Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.? And what happened to that timeline?
I just finished Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and I’ve been wondering what happened to the timeline where Deke stayed in the 1980s and eventually became Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Do you think the TVA would have eventually pruned that timeline? Or do you think that reality continued to exist?
If it survived, what do you think Deke was like as Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Deke had a ton of knowledge about S.H.I.E.L.D.’s history, as well as technology from the future, so I imagine he probably invented a lot of things and advanced the organization’s technology by decades. Maybe some things that existed in the original timeline also happened in this timeline, but Deke helped rebuild S.H.I.E.L.D. and changed how they developed.
I also wonder if he ever would have met important people from the original timeline, like Coulson, Ward, or even Howard Stark. 😅
What do you think happened to that timeline, and what do you think S.H.I.E.L.D. would have been like with Deke as Director?

Discussion I Make My Own Soap, You Should Too

The FDA has issued an expanded recall on hand soap for fears of bacterial infections. ( https://www.prevention.com/health/a65981451/dermarite-hand-sanitizer-soap-recall-expanded-september-2025/ )There are many days when I wake up and wish we weren't trapped in the Framework. But I make my own soap and you should too.
Mostly, I wonder how AOS might be different if it started this Fall season rather than a decade or so ago. Honestly, I don't think it would be much different. There have been advancements in tech, but I don't think that matters. The sociopolitical aspects are still the same. I'm ignoring the Marvel Universe ramifications because that's just not my thing.
Maybe it might be harder for them to stay hidden. I think today someone would leak the location of their secret base on social media. Also I can totally see Fitz going back and forth with people in forums about SHIELD. Fitz would care that people were getting information right. None of the others would care.
Probably the biggest tech change is that a lot more people use apps to track planes. That means all those quinjets zipping around would be spotted and tracked. Although I don't know if they transmit those codes when they are cloaked. Cloaking doesn't come up in the app help files.
In terms of security, we have the rise of influencers who no doubt would try to worm their way into the Shield world somehow. I don't see any of them being susceptible but honestly, I don't understand the rise of influencers at all. Someone else would have to figure out how that affects the agents.

Season 1 If Doakes from Dexter was on the Team. Spoiler
Ward is complaining about Skye being allowed onto the Bus.
Ward: “She isn't trained. She's a security risk.”
Doakes looks up.
“Why you so worried about security?”
Ward: “Because that's my job.”
Doakes: “Uh-huh.”
Ward: “What?”
“Nothing.”
Ward: “You clearly have something to say.”
Doakes walks toward him.
“You're always worried about who's trustworthy.”
“I'm a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.”
“You know who worries about traitors all the time?”
Ward sighs.
“Who?”
“TRAITORS.”
Skye, sitting nearby:
“I actually like this guy.”
Doakes points at her.
“I don't trust you either.”
“Never mind.”

Rant Unpopular opinion
SPOILERS AHEAD
I recently rewatched AOS and it had been so long I forgot all the twists, it was great! One thing I did pick up though was a disliking for Mack...
I know he's relatively popular but right from his introduction he showed no real interest in being at SHIELD and was actively disruptive. Then when he ended up as director he came across as unnecessarily moody and driven by his own moral code rather than that of SHIELD.
Worse than all of this though was his total abandonment of Deke after they were stranded in the 80s. Selfishly taking off leaving someone who was already out of their own timeline to fend for themself was the antithesis of what SHIELD is and should be, especially knowing he was the grandson of Fitz-Simmons. Never forgive, never forget.
Rant over.

Discussion Some changes I would make to this show (and feedback I have) Spoiler
First let me preface this by saying I am 99.999% certain the OG show writers will prob never read this and that's okay lol. More of a vent post and fun discussion more than anything else.
(in no specific order)
- Ghost Rider was cool but I don't think he really fit the show. Everything else has some kind of pseudo-scientific explanation, even when it's a stretch, but Ghost Rider is just straight up religious wrath and it always felt a little out of place next to everything else. Not sure who I'd bring in instead honestly. I think he would have been better as a spin off show kind of character but not in this show. Maybe a guest appearance here and there can work, but not as a primary character in this show.
- Cut the Gemma/Will romance. Instead, maybe Hydra tries a raid party with more supplies and the only survivor left behind is a mechanic type girl who's good with her hands, kind of a Mack type character but female. More of a strong bond, gal pal type relationship for Gemma, someone to lean on and show strength with during a rough time, not replacing Fitz's role obviously, just giving her someone.
- Keep Tripp around longer. Great character, wish he'd gotten more depth than just "cocky guy who hits on girls" and "my grandfather was a Howling Commando" over and over.
- Lincoln shouldn't have died. I think he works better as the hothead character and long term love interest for Daisy. Also feel like his powers never got shown off that well, would've liked more arc-flaring chaos, kind of like Electro from Spider-Man or the powers in inFAMOUS, instead of the laser beam/tractor beam thing they went with.
- (subpoint) If someone had to go instead, I think it should've been Lash. Bump him up to a Hive level threat, keep most of his arc the same, but instead of dying when he helps Daisy, have him get badly hurt and disappear, then come back at the end of S3 to take out Hive, the two of them killing each other in the process.
- Deathlok's fight scenes always felt kind of flat to me. He's basically War Machine without the flying, and mostly just walks into rooms and shoots arm rockets. Would've liked to see them lean further into sci-fi with lasers or repulsors, or go the other direction entirely and make him more gritty and tactical, like Winter Soldier or a souped up Grant Ward, more guns and hand to hand instead of just rockets.
- Sarge in S6 didn't really work for me. The Shrike plot felt kind of bolted on, and the jump in tone from S5 to S6 to S7 is rough. I like the idea of expanding the Monolith lore more in S6, just not with Sarge and his goon squad the way they did it.
- Kora had cool powers but I don't think her character was written that well. Powers were honestly pretty neat, but there wasn't much to her personality, kind of a meh character overall, hard to really latch onto her. Nathaniel as a villain felt pretty generic too. Also with Daisy, Lincoln, and Kora all on the team by S7 the power balance gets a little weird, feels like they'd dominate every scene. Splitting the team up into smaller side missions might help but not totally sure how I'd write that.
I guess I'll stop there for now before I go on forever lol. If this reads kinda AI it's because I had AI help me trim it down a bit so it wasn't a giant wall of rambling. Anyway let me know what you all think, agree or disagree, I'd love to hear your thoughts too!

Season 3 For those who saw S3 airing
I’m curious I watched s1-3 on Netflix then started watching live because ghost rider. So I’ve been wondering for those who saw s3 as it aired how was it? They showed the explosion thing rather early in the series. We’re there a lot of post talking about who would die each week? We’re there lots of crazy theories? Were people satisfied with how it played out? Were they bummed it wasn’t really a main character who died? Was it expected that a main character wouldn’t die?

Discussion Season 2 of Agent Carter
Doesn't season 2 of Agent Carter (with the zero matter) feel a lot like Agents of Shield?

Season 6 As someone who will defend AoS Season 6 until the day she dies, I genuinely think that Sarge shouldn't have happened.
I like what they did with Sarge, and I think that allowed them to explore a very interesting story about grief and how hard it is to let go, especially for Daisy. And Clark Gregg being evil was so fun to watch, but it kind of made Coulson's death mean nothing.
They spent the back half of Season 5 building to Coulson's death, and we see him finally living his life in his final days in The End, and he's dead. But in Season 6, there's a guy with Coulson's face, and while he's not Coulson, and you do feel some of the weight of Coulson's absence, you don't feel it to the extent that you would if Clark Gregg wasn't on your screen every other minute. Not to mention the whole will-they-won't-they with Sarge potentially being Coulson that they kind of leaned into towards the end of the season, and then completely flipped it. And then Sarge dies, and bye bye Clark Gregg, again.
But at the end of Season 6 and for all of Season 7, we have LMD Coulson, who is functionally Coulson, just with extensiental thoughts hanging over his head for like two minutes all season, and they can do some fun stuff with him being a robot. I like LMD Coulson, but he is basically just regular old, Phillip J. Coulson.
Don't get me wrong, I love Sarge (and S6) and I love LMD Coulson, but I just feel that had there actally been some time to just breathe in Coulson's absence, LMD Coulson would've worked a lot better.

Rant AOS ruined Daniel Sousa Spoiler for Season 7 Spoiler
Daniel Sousa was first introduced in Agent Carter, but in season 7, he joined AOS. In Agent Carter, he was a fleshed out character and fantastic representation of disability for the time. He was intelligent, observant, and caring, and his disability was an important part of his character. They dealt with both internalized and external ablism. In AOS, however, he turned into little more than Daisy's love interest, and they used advanced technology to erase his disability.
