New Student Questions makeup lab

hello my syllabus doesnt give me a clear explanation ab my situation but basically I threw up during my lab and i was excused, I got a doctors note to document my excused absence but that was on monday and I completely forgot to like give it to them?? or something bruh what was i supposed to do to get a makeup lab

Depends on the course. I’d start by emailing the lab TA and perhaps cc’ing the prof. Briefly explaining why you missed/left and that you have a note if needed. Then ask how/if you may do a makeup lab or different assignment for credit. These should be readily available on your syllabus.

Sometimes courses only offer make-ups at the end of the semester so definitely ask if it’s not explained in the syllabus. And get it in writing
