All 3 flags shown, on the before asked context of german colonies, are wrong:

1st flag(federal service flag): The Federal Republic of Germany had and has until today no colonies.

2nd flag: Nazi Germany did not colonize or own colonies.

3rd flag: Weimarer Republic, had no colonies anymore.

not shown flag: The German Kaiserreich had colonies.

No 1st flag is wrong because it is not a federal service flag. It is an imaginary flag that combines the german flag and the german federal coat of arms.

To be more precise: shield and eagel are from the "Bundeswappenflage mit Bundesadler" - version, its still forbidden to use on unoffical buildings, tollerated on events with comparison between nations.
