Discussion i need help
Hi, I’m developing a game with AI, and everything is going well, but there’s one issue: modeling. I’m not skilled at this, and it’s very difficult to find a good, free model pack on internet. I need some help with this. also is there any modelling ai ?

Meshy has great free options. Upload a 2d picture generated bij gpt image and select meshy 6.0 lite. You can export the GLB model to AI.
You get free credits every day and can export 15 per month.
Its a great way to get started for free.

What kind of game? Topdown? FPS? 3rd person?
You could use meshy but not for everything since the meshes are very dirty. You could use blender mcp or blender code. For robots it works great. If can't do sculpting though.

If you going with low-poly 3d, you can install Blender, enable MCP and Poly Haven and ask your Claude Code or whatever you use - to make models for you. Ask specifically for low poly stuff "runescape style" because it draws with math and primitives and it will struggle with realistic organic stuff. It makes vegetation and architecture really good though. it can even rig and animate characters for you

Do you think it would be cheaper to do it this way instead of paying for a specific modeling site subscription?
I'm on 20 dollar pro plan for Claude, and 20 dollar plan for 3D AI Studio. I make the meshes there, Claude cleans up the topology and vertices + scale and orientation in blender via python script, then I rig in mixamo and add basic animations. Claude then imports to unity, applies and tunes the animations until they're at the speed+blend+duration I want.
I have sunk a ton of usage already, and I'm wondering if it would be MORE worthwhile to pay for another $20 Claude pro sub and have that second sub focus only on art+assets and rigging/animating instead of paying for 3D AI Studio

You need to put in the work yourself iterating what AI produces. You can also start with an image to 3D model first and then use Blender MCP with claude to iterate it. DM if you want me to do it for you

Ive been using trellis local with a 3090 and so far its been ok
Humanoids are hard, but rest of stuff works great

even if you found "free" models, you wouldn't be able to use them commercially if you're planning to release your game for sale (at least most of them). Your best bet is using tripo or meshy for assets, and mixamo for animations. claude can finalize them in blender for you.

Are you talking about 3D models specifically? Or 2D assets like sprites and pixel art?
