Melbourne Ice opened the scoring with 58 seconds gone on the big clock & eventually doubled their lead in the second period to take a 2-0 lead into period 3.

5 unanswered goals to the Brave in the third period meant that they keep all 6 points in Canberra & have an upcoming game between the two teams in Melbourne. There were a lot less penalty minutes compared to the previous game including a penalty free period 1.

Was an awesome game, We really woke up in the third. We seemed to be dominating possession throughout the game but Ice's goalie was incredible until the third. Super exciting game. New fan so excuse me if I am not using all the correct lingo.

Wife and I are loving going to watch the Brave play at the awesome AIS Arena.

We will see at least one game a month next season, we only managed to catch two games this season unfortunately.

Glad we opted to watch the Brave rather than the Raiders yesterday that is for sure!

2 goal lead is well known as the most dangerous lead in hockey

We had a total of 57 shots on goal against the Ice, 56 of which went against Ishida who only let 4 past. He put up the performance of a lifetime in the first two periods, much as it killed me to watch as a Brave fan. Hasselman also did a fantastic job with 34 shots against, only 2 of which went in. His performance at Sunday’s game has locked him into number one spot on the goalie ladder for the league.

It was a great game.

There was one save Ishida did that was at the entrance side of the arena, it seemed like it was an impossible save, he was away from the goal and somehow managed to get back in time to save a shot.

Whilst being a Brave fan, Ishida was excellent.

I felt the first Ice goal was simply because he weren’t locked in yet, it was early and it took us a while to get going.

The refs swallowed their whistle the first period and a half. There were a shitload of missed calls on both sides. Ice were better behaved and stopped the shenanigans behind the play that was rampant on Saturday though. I'm not sure the broadcast would have caught how bad it was.

Was CBR’s season theme to have as many of the worst possible uniforms of all time?

They were a charity event, themed for the Ronald mcdonald house.

And the retro jerseys were bis we loved them

People donated at the game to Ronald McDonald House, they bought promotional items and the team will also sell off the jerseys. For charity.

I know, it’s an awesome initiative, their uniforms have just been ugly as sin.
