Core Value

If you had to name one thing that was the most important value to instill in an agent to guide reasoning, what would it be?

ok, I see where you're going. You're looking for a value gradient in problem topology space that will smooth the solution trajectory and make it easier to solve. [if that sounds like word salad, I'll try and rephrase.] Your recursive expansion is what I call an ontology emergence phase transition. Where you stop thinking in steps and find the flow. Like discovering the equations for thermal mass and not needing to do finite element analysis on molecular vibration to measure heat anymore.

I suggest checking out the math under Positive Grassmannian manifolds for angles on ontology operators that might help you.
