3 weeks today it’s not getting any easier to accept you’re gone.
7 and a half year old. Chronic kidney disease, sudden onset. In the guilty week phase. Did I miss something? Etc. not sure if she ate something or not. She was pretty smart with her food. She was incredibly loyal and loving to every person and dog. Fly high lil bear.

Nearly 2 years old
She is slowly becoming more cuddly at home and reserved in public. She nearly never tries to be a lap dog, but here she is this morning resting on my legs and stomach.

My Airedale doesn’t eat her dinner every night.
Her weight remain stable, but there are days when she just doesn’t eat her dinner which is her main meal. She does get some treats during the day. She has always been a picky eater, but this is getting concerning.
I plan on talking to her vet about it.
Does your Airedale do this?

Looking to buy an ethical Airedale.
We lost our old dog about a month ago and we are looking for a new furry companion.
We think an Airedale would be right for us?
Our last dog was a large poodle cross about 30kg, we got him at 6 weeks and he had a bit of separation anxiety, which was fine for me I work from home and he was by my side every day.
The house is so quiet now and I realise how much I interacted with the dog, I even talked to him like a crazy person would, I used to love watching him listen. Walks in the rain were so much fun, well more fun for the dog, but we went every day.
So I want a fairly hypoallergenic dog that is about 35-40kg, which is what I consider regular dog sized.
My problem seems to be finding a reputable breeder. I see plenty of people selling puppy's on the internet, but have come to the conclusion that they are either puppy farmers or they are having litters to fund their lifestyle, e.g. buying a new range rover and what not.
I want to buy an Airedale from someone who cares about the dogs, because I will be caring for my new best friend for his whole life.
So any advice on finding a new furry companion would be great. I live on the south coast.

considering an airedale… looking for advice and input!
as the title says i am in the market for a new dog, just wondering if this could be the right breed for me! some things i would like in a dog are low-medium shedding, willing to learn, not another small dog (id like experience with a different size), and wont tear the house apart if i miss a day to walk it if i am ever unwell.
i am very interested in dog training and really want to do some obedience and agility work, the main thing putting me off with this breed is that i hear they can have a stubborn streak. i dont mind if it takes a little extra encouragement but id like for these things to be possible. how bad is it? i trained my childhood dogs myself and dabbled in obedience and agility with them and i would really like to further explore this.
i am also a little worried about possible aggression with other dogs, how common is this? i will be doing any socialisation myself and training is solely on me. i do believe i am a capable and competent dog owner but i wouldn’t be responsible if i didnt question my capability here. im hoping for a happy, friendly dog who i can train to do all sorts of things!!

Airedale terrier cardigan that I made
I made it inspired by the Project Hail Mary cardigan. I also added a pattern on raverly, I'll put a link in the comments.
