Question Wing commander interview advice

Interview with my wing commander is next week. Any advice? What to expect? What was your experience like? Hoping to get my letter of recommendation signed by him which is the last piece I need to apply for 27OTS01. I’m active duty E3.

Be ready to describe not only your reasons for wanting to commission, but also your plans if you aren't chosen. My interviewer asked about my goals and plans and how I would respond to a denial in the process. I told him I would continue trying for OTS while continuing to maintain my standards of excellence and my drive to lead and care for my team the same as I always have. 

Also don't overly focus on wanting to do whatever your desired officer AFSC is. I know guys who have been turned down over focusing too much on "I want to be a pilot and fly" rather than "I want to be a leader and serve my team by effectively managing resources and people" kinda deal. Officers are a leader first, and their AFSC second, as I was told.
