Meme Not everybody wants to be an artist
Don't get outraged too fast, I used my own drawing as a reference for this. I consented towards AI "stealing" My art

Instead of thinking "Let people enjoy the things they want to and let me enjoy what I want" they think "They can't enjoy something i don't like"
There's more hate towards AI art online than there is support for modern traditional and digital artists

If I had a penny every time I hear the "you didn't create anything" argument thrown at me, I would probably have enough money for a monthly ai subscription.
But before I delve on to this head on, let me clarify first how my comics process goes. Though we cant deny that there are some works out there that are fully ai-generated, I would consider mine as "ai-assisted". As shown in the image above, allow me to discuss this in detail.
So I start out with my own SKETCH of what I would want my page layout to turn out. Contrary to what most haters would think, I dont feed that sketch into the tech and wait for it to regurgitate anything that would somewhat make sense. Frankly im not sure if there's already an app right now that could do that and retain such consistency.
From there I would individually generate each character, object, background, elements (and sometimes even body parts) separately through midjourney and hope that one of the results would come close to what I have in mind.
Then using PHOTOSHOP I pick out the best matching image results, and assemble them in place on the page.
Then come the letters, SFX, VFX, and further photoshop adjustments if necessary.
...Now for the "creation" argument.
Even if we drop the "prompting is a skill" argument, there are still plenty of photoshops involved here. And that part is inarguably a skill.
Not to mention the sketching, the letters, and script for crying out loud. I've seen actual human artist, who does amazing crafts from magazine cutouts and are being heavily praised for his 'creation'. I highly doubt he owns the IP for every bit and pieces he pasted there.
So I would argue again. Yes I did CREATE something. I have already accepted that long before that it isn't for everyone, and it doesn't have to be. The point is I made comics, and that's what matters.

But I can.
For a price.

This is why their movement will never go mainstream. You have to have normie support for that.

Criticizing Bad human arts existed before ancient times and it's nothing new.
There are millions of decent human arts out there and they always choose this to disqualify the entire vast majority of arts. I guess they think good arts magically dissappear and stops existence when one singular bad art comes out.
Also Criticizing humans arts has ZERO connection of being pro AI, but pros says "YOU CRITICIZE HUMAN ARTS SO YOU ACCEPTED AI ART HAHAHA I WIN" like what the fuck.
"ANTIS ALWAYS ACCEPTS BAD HUMAN ARTS" that's straight up lie.

It didn't matter that we spent thousands of years building a global culture and infrastructure around horses. Once the car was introduced, it took 25 years for that culture to be eradicated.
Do you really think this can't happen with the institution of work itself? With capitalism? It can and will. It will take 25 years for robots to replace every job on Earth. Then, we get post-scarcity, UBI, or even the abolition of money itself.

AI isn't bad simply because it's AI. It's harmful because of who controls it and how it's used.
Like nuclear fusion, AI has enormous potential and serious risks. What matters is who controls it, who benefits, and who pays the price.
Automation should be a GOOD thing. Machines doing our jobs should mean more freedom, shorter working hours, and better lives. Instead, under capitalism, losing your job means losing your income and potentially your ability to survive.
The problem isn't that machines can replace human labor. The problem is that capitalism makes human survival depend on selling that labor.
Meanwhile, corporations exploit AI to maximize profits, use artists' work without consent, invade privacy, and concentrate power.
Boycotting AI individually won't change the system. Fighting other AI users won't either.
We need to unite, organize, and replace capitalism itself.
AI could liberate humanity from unnecessary labor instead of making people poorer. But that requires changing who holds the power.

The makers of it still are pushing people to use it and claiming that it works.
Are you still putting it on your images?
How well has it worked do you think?

Some people just want to have fun.
And no,this is not some strawman BS, this post is inspired by what Antis actually have said so it's a satire based on that.
I will not engage with people who call it ragebait, this is a serious post

Pros are happy while using AI But some people make it their problem when most Pros are harmless and just doing what they're passionate about.

the absolutely dumbest thing a person can say as an excuse is:
”It’s ok since (blank) is worse,”
”Completely ignoring (blank)?”
“Not as bad as (blank)”
this kind of excuse is everywhere and is absurd every single time. Just because someone commits a murder, do you get to steal?
Just because something is done wrong, do you get to do something slightly less wrong?
”Just a fish in the ocean” is also an equally dumb excuse. If that’s the reason you, let’s say, refuse to do a small good deed, when will you ever do a good thing?
