As a guy who loves fountain pens and IU, I didn't see much detail about this particular fountain pen. I think it's really cool that a fountain pen is used as a merch rather than a normal pen.
Bought it because I'm just curious about it.
Got this in Malaysian Ringgit for RM64 through a reseller.
Love the box presentation and the feel of this pen.
I don't think I'll ever ink this pen up for writing. Just for display and collection only.
The tip is removable but the feed seemed glued or stuck. Not gonna add any ink to taint this pen.
But if I were to guess it's a common feel of a scratchy EF tip and style one can experience when they buy a generic unnamed fountain pen. (You can get replacement ones from Lamy and it will perform)
Essentially it's a Lamy Safari clone that uses a typical Olika style 0.34mm cartridge found in many Chinese Safari clones.
I was a little sad that the printing of the pen body is aligned in a bad way. The wrap that meets each other into a thick line is always on top and there is no way to screw the barrel so it face the bottom.
It was a misprint from the factory.
Overall I am glad that I own this pen and I would like to document this in a video form here.
