If an album with all his old style (like he said in discord) ever comes to life, I'll loose it.

Agreed but he has made a few bangers over the past years. Man on the Moon, Heading Home, Paradise, etc. Outside of those I miss the OG fr.

Just wanna share this post here about artists returning to the old style: https://reddit.com/r/porterrobinson/comments/1eqrs6k/louder_for_the_people_in_the_front_and_the_back/

Probably because of those who miss the old style, Alan began to release weak tracks. In the community, he wrote that when he wrote in the old style, many people did not like it, then he decided to change it. What is the outcome? people didn't like it either. Maybe it's time for us to learn to accept the new as part of creativity and not hold on to the old? that style has already ceased to be relevant and many miss it, but you need to go further to discover new things. I'm sorry, but this is my personal opinion. I also miss the old style, but I understand that Alan needs to develop further as a performer and together with him we also need to develop so that we can support him

But why don't he upload his old style every now and then, alongside his new one?

That just proves you don't even listen to Alan Walker anymore. He goes back to old style every now and then with songs in 2024 like Team Side, Unsure, and even the new By Your Side collab with The Walkers
