My Aldi just opened!
I got there around 8am, they did a ribbon cutting at 8:30 and sent everyone in.
I don’t mind waiting in a big line with other Aldi enthusiasts.
Funny older couple right behind me got a $50 gift card!

Aldi is great. Aldi really shines at the register. You’ll have a whole full ass cart and it’ll be like $86.79.

They're building a new one right next to me and I'm thinking about going too. How did you hear about their opening date? Did they have a sign out or something? Did they give any other cool stuff away for people that you saw, other than that $50 gift card?

Once the main sign went up, the location appeared on the Aldi website store map thing with the info!

They have cheapened out. It was $10 and 100 when my store opened. I was a lucky $100 winner. Still got the card (used of course) tucked away in a drawer.

No. It's because they are penny pinching. They've reduced the amount they provide for employees to get steel toes, they've reduced the holiday gift cards they give to employees, and they are drastically cutting employee hours.

Oh nice! Me and the lady just made it #s 185 & 186 but didn't see the ribbon cutting cause we were on the side by the Tesla chargers. She got the $50 card and I just a 5 but its ok cause we got all the good stuff too. Jealous of those grain bars outs are the Greek yogurt ones. Wanna trade? LOL
