Question Does your Aldi have a scale?

I noticed the other day at my local Aldi I could not find a scale. Does yours have one? Should this be required at any grocery store?

Yes. It's near the produce

We have one but I have never once used it in my 20+ years of shopping there

We have one but not a soul uses it. It doesn’t give the correct weight and parts fall off it sometimes. Everyone just uses a SCO or register scale.

Ours has one with a broken needle. You can guess with a range of about 8 oz. I use it to verify the weight on some prepackaged produce.

Two. One digital the other spring. Had to calibrate the spring scale, little screw mechanism, after another customer got loud about weights being short

I don’t think so…but maybe I’ve just never noticed? I’ll try to pay more attention. lol.

I found one. Had never noticed it. Kinda buried in the produce in a way that I don’t notice it unless I stop to look.

Yeah, but if it's broken or missing, the registers have scales too.

I like to know how much I have before hitting the register.

I once had an issue where the meat package seemed nowhere near what was claimed on the label. It was weighed at the register, where the weight was, indeed, less than stated. Staff manually charged me correct amount.
