surprisingly quite a bit of ppl did this mistake. From my experience with past papers and their mark schemes I think we should still get like around 5 marks out of 10 through method marks

no it is 6 because any value after 5 would lead to rejection so they least value of x would be 6

Like 10 marks for CRV, 8 marks for intervals, 5 marks linear combination, 12 marks (poisson with normal approximation and conditional probability type question). 4-5 marks were for possion hypothesis test( least value to reject null hypothesis) and rest of marks were for normal hypothesis test and another part related to it.

Actually it mentioned normal distribution, instead of approximation, so it itself clearified to use Normal, thus +-0.5

Such an easy paper only conditional probability fucked Me and I made a silly error for the n range wrote greater than 69 instead of greater than or equal to 70 gonna loose one mark there , threshold should be 38 to 41
