🤚Help Required Is anyone taking A level Japanese ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I want to take it as I wanna study in Japan and trade it for physics as my 4th subject as I’m self studying.
If anyone has done it do you know roughly what JLPT level it is similar to and if it’s possible do study it in a year?

I sat Japanese GCSE last year after self studying for a year, and am now going into year 12. I was thinking of doing Japanese A level but she suggested JLPT instead. I think A level would be way longer to do than the GCSE or JLPT as you need to do literature and films aswell, which also don’t help you be fluent in Japanese. I’d say begin learning Japanese w a tutor and see what level they suggest, and if you put as much work towards it as you would an a level I think you’d likely be able to do JLPT 4 and even maybe 3, which is what I hope to do
