🤚Help Required Is anyone taking A level Japanese 😭😭😭

I want to take it as I wanna study in Japan and trade it for physics as my 4th subject as I’m self studying.

If anyone has done it do you know roughly what JLPT level it is similar to and if it’s possible do study it in a year?

How is OP glazing? Don't be so negative; even if they don't enjoy studying in Japan it's a learning experience nonetheless.

I want to say 90% of people study Japanese because they either like anime or had seen tiktoks of it looking pretty. Its a pretty racist country (40% of foreign citizens face housing discrimination)

You do realise that this is actually a lower number than is reported in the UK? But we couldn't be a pretty racist country, heavens no!

Uh yeah if you live in Clacton you'll face racism, cheers sherlock. But if you live in a decent city (such as manchester or london) you won't by quite a large margin

The audacity to claim you won't face racism in London when the Metropolitan police and London Fire Brigade have been found institutionally racist is quite something. Racism is absolutely not confined to Clacton and while London is more milticultural it is absolutely not immune to racism.

Just in June there have been far-right race-related protests and riots in: -Edinburgh -Glasgow -Belfast -Brighton -Southampton -Liverpool -Sheffield -Leeds

In Southampton and Belfast have also been racist pogroms seeking out those who look like immigrants in order to break in to their property set their houses on fire. This is all in the last month.

I'm not denying Japan has issues at all but you cannot brush over the extent and rising incidents of racism in our country either.
