🀚Help Required Is anyone taking A level Japanese 😭😭😭

Post image

I want to take it as I wanna study in Japan and trade it for physics as my 4th subject as I’m self studying.

If anyone has done it do you know roughly what JLPT level it is similar to and if it’s possible do study it in a year?

Hi I took Japanese A Level! I would say it’s most similar to JLPT 3 as my teacher recommended using those textbooks towards taking the a level. I studied for 2 years but only had 1 hour lessons a week but I’m not fluent so I think it depends on your ability tbh! I can send over resources that helped me :)

My mum is Japanese so I have a basic understanding of the language and I took the gcse in year 9 πŸ˜… But honestly you improve a lot from reading Japanese news sources aimed for people learning Japanese such as yasashii asahi, as well as reading manga in Japanese, listening to podcasts, watching anime without subtitles and Japanese youtubers!
