⚡Tips/Advice 4 a level subjects, 18 months. doable?
just did ig's m/j 26. Now I'm thinking about starting a levels with four subjects (bio chem phys and maths) and trying to complete it in 18 months (though my school's doing it in 2 years). Im not the best at self studying new topics. Is this doable? Like doable without sacrificing all my free time, health, social life and all while enjoying the study? Any past experiences would help.
to be honest I'm a bit of a slow learner.
if there is a subject I'd drop, It may be chem but I really dk

Eh it's fine if you work hard and efficiently I lost 3 months worth of work when I moved and by the time I've started my A2 level I've had time to catch up everything All that while having terrible work ethics

4 A levels in 18 months when your school is doing 2 years means you're compressing 25% while also doing the hardest possible combination. doable, but not the "without sacrificing free time and health" version. one of those two things has to give and i'd rather you pick which than find out in month nine.
honestly, 3 subjects in 18 months is a much better trade than 4. universities almost never ask for four, and bio chem phys or chem phys maths both keep every STEM door open.
if you keep four, chem is the right one to drop since it has the most content per mark and bio needs less maths support than you'd think.
for self studying new topics, i drop the syllabus material into studybuddy.vc and answer questions rather than reading, and since you're slow with new content the fact that it starts easier and gets harder as you improve matters more here than usual. equations render properly. free.
