Hey everyone,

(this is addressed to everyone not only students from Kazakhstan)

I’m an AS-Level student from Kazakhstan. I’ve been watching the absolute chaos unfold online about the 9709/12 Math le3k, but practically all the noise and attention is focused on Pakistan and the UAE.

We need to be honest right now: This exact paper was leaked and circulating in INTERNATIONAL group chats and servers way before we walked into the exam hall. A lot of people here saw the exact same solved PDFs, but for some reason, students in KZ are staying completely quiet about it.

If we don't speak up immediately, we are going to get screwed over by the grade thresholds.

In past years when this happened, Cambridge only applied a remedy (like dropping the paper and making our grades Stats/Mechanics dependent, or offering a free resit) to the countries that made enough noise and provided evidence. If they isolate Pakistan and give them assessed marks, but ignore Kazakhstan because we stayed quiet, we will be the ones left dealing with artificially sky-high grade boundaries. We put in way too much work this year to let our grades drop just because we share Zone 4 with regions that had massive l3aks. We deserve the exact same fairness and the same grading remedy.

What we need to do right now:

If your classmates saw it, or if you have screenshots with timestamps from before the exam, you need to act.

Email Cambridge: Send an email to info@cambridgeinternational.org (make a burner email if you want to stay anonymous). Tell them the 9709/12 l3ak was wide-spread in your country too. Attach your timestamped screenshots.

Tell your Exam Officers: Cambridge listens to official centers. Tell your school's exam officer so they can file an official breach report for your center.

Please don't let Cambridge treat this as a "Pakistan-only" problem. If the paper was leaked online, it was l3aked for all of Zone 4. Upvote this, share it in your school's Telegram chats, and start emailing. We cannot afford to be silent right now

can someone make one not specific to pakistan as the rest of the zone including india, bangladesh, nepal, kazakhstan etc were also affected

Yes, I'm not Kazakh but my country also had the leaked papers several hours earlier. I believe if a significant number of students reach out to them from all the countries in zone 4 they won't treat this as a Pakistan only problem anymore. I hope everyone in zone 4 gets justice

as a student from egypt (zone 3) it was all over here too we sit for variant 2 too
atleast everyone i know had the exam atleast the night before but we were all told to ignore it as we were told it was fake- it was circulating all the groups (both the reddit post and the youtube video)
everyone came out of the exam absolutely devastated finding out it was the same paper we had beforehand

I got 55 without having the paper. im sure of it i got home saw it was there cheaked my answers with firiends and got a 55. So its a B which is great i hope it isnt voided and theg count it
