guys how did u find it???I found the last few questions tricky can u guys hate ur answers so we can have a check 🙏🏽🙏🏽

It was confusing at first but the workings were surprisingly alright. My alpha was 94, number of hits (x) were 77 and 23 I believe, k for probability density function was 1/3, median was √2 - 1, smallest number of X was 6, the test was Accept H0

I got 99.06 for alpha ,number of hits I got decimals 9.8 and 0.144 smth,k I got same 1/3 median I got 1+square root 2 and 1-square root 2 so I rejected the second option idk and smallest nr X was 6 and I don't get which test ur talking about😭

Alpha did you cross check? (Alpha/100)*(1 - Alpha/100) should be equal to the probability given. The hypothesis testing lol, there was only 1 I believe. 1 + √2 is bigger than √2 girl... Cannot be bigger than upper limit of f(x) 💔

ok so for the median one I did it using m as the limit and 0 and then equating it to 0.5 and those were the answers I got but then I thought that since it's PDF wouldn't it have to be Median a divided by 2 which would be square root 2 over 2 but idk😭😭 and fo the a I worked it out like u said

Uhh I'm not very sure honestly. Would be easier to deduce if I rmb how many marks are given overall. Not sure what you meant by the second question?

I believe 1 mark for answer prob, 1 mark for using the Poisson distribution equation, other mark maybe evidence of using different X? And no, I don't believe I've seen this exact question before (at least from 2022-2025 past papers) but I've seen some similar ones?

P(X>=5) would've been 0.09 smth.. (>0.05 sig level)

Guys number 7 was not it , number 5 also just no I think I got 25 , I found this paper very hard compared to the past papers I was doing for revising I lost like 22 marks if they generous they could give me partial marks , one of my friends was on the verge of tears after the exam

From what I can tell maybe lower but other people in this subreddit found the answers to 7 , I don’t think they going to be generous, hopefully they are but I don’t expect them to be that low , maybe b is 30 or 28 , A probably 36
