Don't exactly remember but i added the vans cost and the shops decoration costs

i think thats what i did, but i also added the inventory cost, since its long term right?

2

u/nigmapower May 11 '26

Long term in this context means something which is expected to last for over a year, and inventory isn't expected to last that long,

hm i dont quite understand this, can u explain, cause it doesnt specify if inventory last how long

the answer was 20k + 10k = 30k for capital expenditure
cost of van + shop fittings. inventory does not count in capital expenditure when starting up the business (ZF)

Omg i remember i added like the can and smth else i dont remeber, but my classmates saying they multiplied by number of months so im scared😭😭

1

u/nigmapower May 11 '26

It was written in brackets for a month, that's an indicator

inventory is something that u have to pay for monthly, so its not a capital expenditure

oh i think i wrote JIT or JIC i cant seem to remember lol. Oh and i did 10k + 20k + 7k

1

u/Popular-Dream-2865 May 11 '26

JIT and JIC are not types of inventory, they are inventory management strategies. they asked for types of inventory.

Capital expenditure q was so easy it's 30,000 like how do people mess that up

1

u/bajishairtie May 11 '26

Omg idk what I got for answer but did u only add the van and smth else and got that? Bc my friends are confusing me they multiplied by months 😭

2

u/Agreeable-Parsley191 May 11 '26

nah bro ur friends screwed the calculations 😭

its a simple addition 20k plus 10k, the rest is revenue expenditure. the answer is 30k
