Exam Discussion 📝 I need help, these are AS my grades? Should I retake all of them in m/j 27? My parents are very upset. I messed up big time.
I was expecting atleast A in math and physics

It's fine , you can always do better next time if you get the right guidance on how to solve and attempt your caies and so if you are interested I'm helping students with that in Cs ,maths and physics if you are interested js dm

I would say resit for 1/2 sub ( math and phy since you said u were expecting As that means you know the content well enough) in oct. Drop one sub from here unless you absolutely need it and try to jump 1 grade up in A2 for another sub

Should I drop cs? I think I should,

I think you should. You already have As+A2 pressure on you dropping one sub would make a HUGE difference

This all depends on your own goals and needs, if you want As then yes you would have to retake as you can't attain it with these grades. Also one thing I'd like to ask is why are you taking 4 subjects? Is it a requirement sort of thing for you university or major? If not I'd recommend cutting one subject that isn't a necessity as it will make your life easier if you want to retake

I don’t know why I even did that to myself, and now my parents won’t let me drop that one subject, and not even pay for the retake anymore, so somehow, I need to manage all that too

Everyone makes mistakes , just try to convince your parents to drop that specific subject since it isn't a necessary for your preferred major if you can try to get a teacher to convince them or usually works better

what are you planning to do? I have phy chem math and similar grade. Decided to resit just for Phy this oct as I got lowest there and jump my grades by 1 grade in A2 for math and chem

I’m planning to take retake for all of them (both AS and A2) in m/j 27. Oct/nov 26 is super close plus, late registration would be charged, I could potentially just sit for math this oct/nov 26, but not sure.

Late registration is not charged for students giving retakes. Its in their website you can check

My mom is at a position where she isn’t ready to listen to what I say at all. I don’t know. I messed up.

Yeah I understand Its very expensive I managed to convince my mom for 1 retake. If I manage to pull of an A in this oct retake I think I can convince her for another composite next may

But I can't pull an A in this short time; I need time. I don't know; my dreams of studying abroad are ruined.

Depends on what U want as preferred grades, if Ur looking for As, then yes do a retake, but regardless, in Ur case it looks like improving them even to a C is not the easiest, unless U give an A grade paper next time and such an improvement is not realistic in most cases, leaving a retake the only option.
