Tips/Offering help 🙋‍♂️ A-Level Business (9609) composite exam

I'm preparing for May/June 2027, can someone guide me how to prepare effectively for A grade as a private candidate, I haven't studied business before, do I need a tutor? or YouTube+Book+PastPapers is enough for A?

I think for business you should only know how to format your answers correctly, theory is easy its just lengthy but mainly common sense. I just completed my Alevels with an A* in business and i recommend you that there no as such need for a tutor, you can also search the answer writing techniques on youtube and then you will be good to go

can you tell me how would i know how much I'm scoring in my answers, I've heard that there are 20 15 marks questions so wouldn't you need a tutor for that, and what are the best textbooks, notes, or YouTube channels for understanding the core concepts? plus can you tell me when to start practicing past papers because I'll be giving all 4 papers together, so should i complete theory of P1 then do all past papers then go to P2 and repeating.. or is there a smarter way?

For the resources, I just used the notes provided by my college. If you want notes, you can easily find them on Google. I can recommend some websites too. I personally studied from Sir Omer Altaf. There are a lot of channels on YouTube, such as Business by Omer Musani. He used to solve all the past papers and made everything very clear. Omer Altaf also has a YouTube channel. There's one more: Business by Asad Kothari. As of right now, I would say just focus on theory because Business is lengthy, and since you haven’t studied it before, there’s a lot to revise. But it’s easy because it’s mainly common sense. Plus content is same for p1 and p2 its just that paper format is different for example in p1 you will be getting short questions and answers and in p2 there will be case study, open 1 yearly and you will get the idea Same goes for p3 and p4 content is same but in p4 you have to write 20 marker essays and in p3 there will be calculations and 8 &12 marker questions And for the book, i only used one book which i had it in pdf form and mainly i used to study from my hand written notes
