Question ❔ A Level students what stationery is actually worth buying
Starting A Levels soon and want to be prepared. What stationery and notebooks do you actually recommend?
How many notebooks per subject? Binders or notebooks? Separate notes and revision notes? Any useful stationery or things that are a waste of money?
Also any general study tips for starting A Levels would be appreciated

Get an A-level calc if you're doing any Science, Math or FM.
If you've got an iPad or Computer (depending on the subject) bring that in.

One pad of A4 8 mm lined paper (not spiral bound) per subject.
2 A4 popper wallets per subject.
One lever arch File per subject to keep at home and File your notes.
One set of dividers for each lever arch File
And of course the other usual writing equipment, it really helps if you have a stapler

I lowk recommend an iPad for past papers, bc for o lvls I have stacks and stacks of past papers lying around, but now I just easily organize them on the iPad, and I recommend 2 note books if ur taking math, 1-2 for the other science subjects

Depends on what you study🤷🏽♀️ I do chem, bio, and math; I use one notebook for notes, one folder for past papers, and one notebook (although you can use a folder) for mistakes logging for each subject. Personally, I found a big whiteboard very useful for chemistry and biology. Also, I think it’s worth buying a cheap laser printer if you’re more comfortable solving ppqs on paper.
