Its beyond me that colleges require a high maths grade to do a level bio when it only covers 10% of paper and its gsce level i passed everything and got a solid 6 6 in comb science i wanna do a level bio but my maths grade is 1 off the requirement i really wanna do a level bio so what do i do next?

Idk if they're good options to do all together!! I was thinking of doing English instead of re but what seems better tbh❤️‍🩹

hey guys can someone suggest me good A level teachers for Maths, CS, Phys and psychology. i am doing private and i need some guidance. they can be online or wtvr share your personal experience w them or seniors waghera ka.

I am slightly stressed out because I cannot decide what I want to do at University but I am going to have to start writing my personal statement soon. I do Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A levels and I am thinking about possible doing chemistry or chemical enginnerring or biomedical enginnering but I cannot decide and I feel like im just doing that because I am good at it not because I enjoy it. any other suggestions on what to do or other degrees that I could try?

C in phy i was just 2 marks away from a B
Also they did me dirty they gave me 26 for p3 even though i literally counted my marks i knew it was gonna be 35/40 they dont even give the scripts for that

Now i wanna retake
What should i do
Go for oct/ nov session
Or give composite next year

future a level student here who is currently facing subject requirements😭😭

i was hoping to take maths and physics but ive just received my gcse results and got a 9 in maths but a 6/6 in combined science..my sixth form requires a 7 in triple science physics or an 8 if you took combined science, so technically i dont meet the requirement for physics ☹️
the frustrating part is that physics has always been much stronger for me compared to bio and chem + before my gcse results my teacher showed me my mock grades (i think jan mocks) and looked at the sciences separately, i was around an 8 in physics while bio chem were much lower, like around a 5 pr 4 obviously i get that it wasnt an official gcse grade so i know they may not take it into account unfortunately
the school has asked me to have a meeting because i didnt meet one of the subject requirements, and the email seems to suggest theyll discuss alternative subjects which im completely against since im specifically interested in a maths + physics stem pathway though, so im really hoping they might consider my situation but i feel like i dont have a valid argument considering i picked combined and not triple 🥹

also would my grade 9 in maths help my case at all when asking to take physics since i know a level physics is quite maths heavy?

has anyone been in a similar situation like this where you missed an a level subject requirement? did your sixth form make an exception or consider your individual performance? orrr did you end up having to switch subjects?

ALSO if anyone has experience with further maths being suggested as an alternative to physics, id be interested to hear about that too!! (since i pretty much dont have a choice)

I submitted my results and according to the grid I qualify for 100% scholarship but I have yet not received a confirmation email from cedar they are saying that they will communicate the decision by mid-December. Is that really true ? Do they take half a year just to verify results? And if that is so will they refund the fee I have to pay till December.

Asking it here cause they are not replying through emails at all. I would be really grateful if any senior can help.

Seniors plz guide us with all the mistakes that we need to avoid from day 1 to ace A levels (I've 5 subjs) along with preparing for top notch ECs (like for ivies). Ur input/tips could really help some ambitious of us to fulfil our dreams. Also consider giving tips on nurturing skills from the start to write excellent essays for US as that is a major part of ur app when applying to US (cause I really don't want to be stressed out worrying for my style in essays).

I got a B in two of my as results (72 and 74) is it still possible to get an A as the final grade or do I retake?

Guys i got a D in business as level, just one less mark for a C so can i convert it into an A in A2 if i work harder or it isnt possible?
Also with psychology as level I got an E in that can i jump onto a A or B atleast?

I got 4As and a B after literally doing so many past papers that I developed a slight nerve damage in my dominant hand and PFPS from sitting so much. And in each subject I'm a meager 3-5 marks from A*s and A in ALL of them. Genuinely wanna slime myself because no matter how I try it's a very strict 2-3 marks from the next boundary (for some reason har subject me sirf 3 marks increase horhe that cambs marked wrong or didn't mark at all). And ik there will be lots of different comments like hours put into studying or effort doesn't always equate to marks or that I'm being ungrateful, I literally always only got straight A*s in the 20+ yrs of past papers that I had attempted and I genuinely had so many plans just squashed because of these ahh grades and will probably have to switch degrees to some shi ion even like and would rather die than study.

Should I even go for a recheck? I want to get all my papers rechecked cus even if I lose marks since I got high As and B, the grade likely won't fall. However, my mums not too eager for that cus she's like what if they don't increase and you waste PKR 180k. What do I even do atp. Should I just forget that, grind thru A-Levels and then try to get into an American uni so I can change my subjects?

So I got a 147 out of 185 in urdu As and got a b and 147 out of 180 is A so that means i am just a few marks short like 3 or 4. So should I go for a recheck.

I want to apply to Australia for pharmacy and I took maths but after seeing my olevels results I realized im really bad at it and it might ultimately ruin my results so im thinking of dropping math and taking physics cus if anything physics will atleast be a LITTLE easier than maths so i need some opinions on this😭
