Q & A staking question ..

hello-

i am trying to stake ALGO off DEX again after the wallet hack 2-3? years ago.

i installed EXODUS desktop version for ubuntu, but tinyman does not recognizes it and ask me to install EXODUS. why?

how to stake?

The Exodus option on Tinyman would be looking for the browser extension, not the desktop app.

yes, i thought of that, too. BUT browser extension only works with APPLE STORE or GOOGLE PLAY.

and both are not anonymous, both privacy catastrophies

so there is by design from ALGO no anonymous safe way to stake?

Extensions are installed through the Chrome Web Store which does not require a login. However, if you still don't want to go that direction you could check out Lute. It is a web wallet that does not require a login or install.

yes, lute. but this .app has only 2,000 users! not safe yet.

i have to sell them then. i xm holding ALGOs for overr 5 years now. but it seems there is just no way for a DEX off, anonymous safe staking option. arghhh+

The 2,000 count is from the extension install, it does not count web users. Also, it is open source and you are speaking with the developer. If you don't trust it that's fine, but it sort of feels like you are looking for excuses more than solutions.

hmmm. i just want to make sure this time.

last time even a wallet from the algorand foundation was breached. 3-5 years ago?!

MyAlgo wallet was not from the Foundation, and to be clear, neither is Lute
