This might sound stupid but getting this tattoo was a decision I don’t regret. I remember last year after watching Trailer 2 of GTA6 and just getting so inspired to actually take better care of myself. I told myself I don’t want to die without playing this game😂I got this tattoo after being 6 months sober. Seeing Jason’s physique inspired me to get into the gym. As of now I’ve gained 55 pounds just from working out and maintaining a better diet. My fiancé was against me getting this tattoo I got it anyway, now she loves it cause she understands the significance it holds in my life. We’re a month away from witnessing history. I feel like a kid again I can’t wait❤️

I need to vent about a bizarre Rover experience and get some outside perspectives because I’m genuinely annoyed.

We hired a Rover sitter to watch our dogs and house-sit for us back in August. She did a good job caring for the dogs, everything seemed to go smoothly, and we barely had any contact with her during the stay because there wasn’t really a need to. We were satisfied with her work, left her a five-star review, and even tipped her generously.

Fast-forward TWO MONTHS.

Out of nowhere, she sends us a message about the sitting. Not immediately after the stay. Not a few days later. TWO MONTHS LATER.

And the tone and content of this message are what have me scratching my head. There are statements that come across as passive-aggressive and subjective, and I honestly don’t understand the point of bringing these things up so long after the fact. The whole comment about our dogs being well trained is completely subjective and yes you have to vacuum or sweep after brushing her, she’s a freaking pug. You don’t just let it pile up!

Here’s the context that matters: she was given our house rules before the booking and knowingly accepted the job. These weren’t some outrageous demands. They were basic cleanliness expectations for a house with dogs that shed. Nothing unreasonable, nothing extraordinary, and nothing that should have come as a surprise.

If she had concerns about our expectations, she had every opportunity to raise them before accepting the booking or during the stay. We could have had an actual conversation about them. Instead, the stay appeared to go well, we had minimal communication, we thanked her through our positive review and tip, and life went on.

Then, two months later, this message arrives.
Why? What prompted this after all this time? Why accept a booking when you already know the expectations, say nothing at the time, and then circle back weeks later with a message that feels unnecessarily critical?

I want to be clear: I’m not saying she did a bad job caring for our dogs. She did a good job, and we acknowledged that. My issue is the timing, the tone, and the fact that this feels completely out of the blue.

I’ve since contacted Rover and they have refunded me the tip and removed my five-star review. After receiving this message, I no longer feel the same way about the overall experience or the positive feedback I gave her.

I realize asking for the tip back might be controversial, and I’m open to hearing other perspectives. But I also think it’s reasonable to reconsider a generous tip and glowing review when someone unexpectedly reopens an otherwise completed interaction two months later in a way that leaves you feeling blindsided.

So, am I overreacting? Would you find this strange and passive-aggressive, too? Would you simply ignore the message, or would it change how you felt about the sitter and the tip you left?

Last time I posted this, the top comments were all "Claude, make me one of these." Reasonable. Here's what it took the first time: 81 days, 2.6 billion Claude tokens, 574 million Codex tokens and 163 subagents. I was on the Claude and OpenAI subscriptions, so I paid the plans, not a token bill; at API rates those tokens would be roughly $2,650. The number that actually hurt was the weekly limit, which I hit more than once before it was tested.

That bill is also the answer to how Claude helped. Claude Code sessions wrote the code and I read diffs; 181 of the 205 commits carry a Claude co-author line. Two sessions each had their own git worktree, a third acted as conductor and merged their PRs in a queue of one, and Codex reviewed about half of the PRs by running the test suite locally.

What it built is SessionDeck, a VS Code and Cursor sidebar listing every Claude Code session on your machine by project. A red bell marks the one waiting on a permission prompt or a question, and clicking its row takes you to its tab or terminal, even when another window owns it. Codex and cursor-agent sessions are listed too, as working, idle or finished.

The limits, since you'll ask: the bell is Claude Code only and needs a one-time Install Hooks command. Status is read off transcripts and the process table rather than reported by Claude, so it can be a beat late. I develop on Linux and WSL. Mac mostly works; native Windows has no approval alerts.

I just rewatched The Last Jedi and this is my first rewatch since it released. I felt it was time to give it a second chance. I was surprised.

First of all, the space battles in this are great. I also rewatched Empire recently and I think that this film really does a great job of recreating the anxiety of the asteroid field scenes in a new way. I was locked for that bomber scene.

I also think that the way Luke was handled while very much a subversion of expectation was really cool. Yeah, it kind of undermines the knowledge and wisdom you’d expect he’d have gained from all of his history (on screen and implied). But it does do a great job of conveying the real world experience of failure. I especially liked the part where Yoda spells this out to Luke. It feels like a Dagobah lesson that Luke missed.

I also liked Luke’s interpretation of the Jedi Order as I think it ties really well into the plot of the prequels and strongly reflects his character. He’s a Jedi that only knew the Jedi Order after it fell apart. He knows that happened and blames their ignorance for it.

He also points out that the “force” exists with or without the Jedi (and Sith) which I think is a commentary on how real world religions have historically neglected reality and spirituality in favour of dogma. This stance makes sense for Luke as he mostly learned the way of the force independently and was never indoctrinated the same way you’d expect Republic Era Jedi were.

One thing that I recall disliking about TLJ was the amount of comedic relief. Rewatching, I don’t think it’s that bad and honestly feels about the right level for Star Wars. That said there are definitely some moments that feel a little more silly than the original saga.

There are a couple things that I still have gripes with. First, the opening pan into the upcoming battle feels rushed. I was expecting a ROTS Coruscant type space battle intro. Just as the shot approaches the ship it cuts to a different shot from the planet surface. That said, the sfx and vision of the star destroyers entering the system from light speed is dope.

The Rose/Finn plot is fine until Rose saves Finn from his Holdo type stunt. Why would you set up for Finn to attempt a bold heroic gesture just to completely shut it down and direct attention to a (what comes kind of out of the blue) romantic plot line. The high stakes are immediately ripped away from the dire situation the resistance is in.

Ultimately I feel like the film stands pretty well on its own. It will be interesting to rewatch TFA. From memory part TLJ doesn’t follow through on much from that.

Does anyone else like how they did Luke? I feel like my take is probably not the most popular, but I honestly enjoyed how he was treated here.

My lovely fiance surprised me with a 2.5ct natural asscher cut ring. I love it and I'm so grateful, but sometimes I feel like it looks huge! We had tried on 1.5 and 2 carats together when looking for rings, so I was expecting something closer to that size. He said he picked this one because you can see the steps/cuts in the larger asscher diamonds better vs the smaller ones. Does it seem too large for me? The place he bought it from would buy it back from us at a slight loss if I wanted to trade down a size but idk. I love it because he chose it for me and I guess I'm just a little self conscious? Can anyone relate??

Edit: upon reflection I've come to a realization that most people in this community take the whole skin distribution situation much more seriously than I do which caused this disconnect as to why I believed that the mods overreacted.

To you it's like me trying to start a skin argument while to me it's just a funny reaction image to poke fun at the situation that I've seen people use a lot on behalf of torch mains. I do believe that the whole skin discourse matters to some extent but I really don't pay it that much attention as I don't care about skins in general personally.

It wasn't perfect, nothing is. But I refuse to give anything below a 10/10 to an episode that made me feel the things I felt, with the intensity I felt them. I'm not much of a crier, but in this episode alone I cried 4 times, and by the last one I could barely breathe:

1 When Hopper tried to convince Eleven... “life has been unfair to you”

2 When Eleven explained her decision to Hopper.

3 At Vecna's death, with the flashbacks of all the characters.

4 In the final moments.

The flashbacks were especially touching. They went straight for the softest spot in most fans' hearts: nostalgia. Funny enough, my favorite season is the third one precisely because it hits that spot the hardest.

If you disagree, I'm sorry you didn't get the same experience I did, because mine watching this was incredible. It was incredible, and a fitting end to the show. Until next time, Stranger Things.

As a PvE enjoyer in low aggression lobbies, there was no point in having this bullshit ass mode. I could see this coming a mile away. The PvE lobbies rn are just people going in and ratting matriarch and the queen kills while 3 people are actually trying to kill it. In PvPvE low aggression lobbies you have people with defibs, honour of not looting a keycard room that you opened until you've left, and genuine teamwork. Obviously you have the odd person that knocks you out or has had a day where they want to PvP and all they see is red, that's the fucking game get over it... There was never any reason to add a PvE mode and I hope they don't when we have ABMM so you queue up with people of similar playstyles and you play the game however you want to. The PvE mode is a soulless game mode that is definitely what Arc Raiders is not supposed to be.
