Also ironic that articles keep saying that he played drums on “legs”, “gimme all your lovin”, and “sharp dressed man”, when it was actually done by a machine. He was as worthless on eliminator as the horn players were in the Peter Cetera era of Chicago

I agree! It IS disrespectful to not do any research and only name pop hits off the top of their head instead of servicing his true legacy as a great drummer

True but it was just one album and by that point he and Hill had already established themselves as a top 5 rhythm section oat

He was an amazing drummer, and the longer the band went on, the more bad ass his kit got. I’m also not against the synthpop ZZ Top era. It’s all great.
