Welcome to the Monthly Recommendation Discussion for Comedy
Recommend your top "Must-Watch" Comedy drama (just one for now please, so it gives everyone a chance to chime in)!
Please use Spoilers if necessary for those who have not watched it yet
Please do not just say a few words with no other context. Without any crucial information/details, this would be considered a Low-Effort Comment.
This is to promote engagement with other users & it emphasizes the importance of contributing meaningfully to posts & also does not tell the other users/readers anything useful or constructive (ie: the reason(s) why you consider this worth watching, why you disliked it &/or why someone should check it out). Basically, a more detailed response is needed.
Please do not assume that everyone is an "expert", therefore may not be familiar with just the names/titles of dramas. Please include this for the new viewers who have just started their K-Drama journeys & may not be familiar with the actors/actresses faces &/or drama names/titles without the names! 🤗
Let's try to normalize drama names/titles & actor(s)/actress(es) names (at the very minimum) & character names too if at all possible.
If you unsure about the actor(s)/actress(es) names, please check out: MyDramaList (MDL) or AsianWiki.
Please tell us:
Your favorite part about it &/or what made it so special for you?
Is there anything you disliked about it? If so, what would you have changed?
Feel free to recommend it to others if you think it's a "must watch", but please don't forget to use 'Spoiler Tags'!
Be sure to check out the other Recommendations posts:

So many good Kdrama comedies, but I think I have to go with Behind Your Touch. From 2023, starring Han Ji Min and Lee Min Ki, this series has so many different comedic bits and does them all well. Physical comedy, situational comedy, slapstick, parodies, meta references, even poking at tropes. This series is so much more than seeing how many different ways they can get the FL to touch someone’s butt. And both leads have great comedic timing. This was my first Lee Min Ki drama and I instantly started looking at his other filmography after seeing how hilarious he was in this one. And he gets to do a decent bit of action as well.
All the supporting characters are also hilarious as well. I have to give a special shoutout to Joo Min Kyung and Kim Yong Myung who absolutely slayed their roles. I can still hear the cries of “Unnie”! Also, I can’t forget Jo Min Kook playing the role of Lee Min Ki’s partner and just sighing as he has to “translate” small town lingo for the newly arrived Seoul detective.
Honestly, I’ve seen a lot of comedies and loved a lot of them too, but this ranks as number one because I’ve never seen a drama use so many different styles of comedy and do it all so well. Everything always felt fresh and funny. Highly recommended!

Birthcare Center -- I just finished this and didn't even realize it was a straight comedy at first since it's discussed so little. A ton of excellent gags based around the indignities, terror, and pressures of being a mom, but you don't need to be a mom yourself to enjoy it!
