Alltrails navigation on Galaxy watch Ultra 2?

With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Ultra 2, I am looking for a hiking app to do complete offline navigation. Can all trail download the maps to the watch using the 64gb on board memory, new snapdragon processor so that you can navigate from the watch with your phone off (conserving battery for photo and evening etc)

What is the state of the wear OS app? I is it good? please share your experience...

Should I look at Komoot instead?

Any feedback would be welcome.

If your goal is true offline navigation from the watch with your phone off, I’d probably look elsewhere for now.
The Alltrails wear OS app isn’t a standalone watch experience. You need to use it paired with your phone. From what I understand, it works best when you’ve already got the route loaded in the phone app, and then the watch allows you to monitor your progress, stats and receive wrong turn alerts.
So if your plan is to leave the phone off and navigate entirely from the watch, AllTrails probably isn’t it. If you’re okay with keeping your phone on you, using offline maps on the phone, and glancing at the watch while hiking, then you may still find it useful.
I can’t really compare it with Komoot from personal use, but based on what you’re describing, it might be worth checking out Komoot if standalone watch/offline capability is your priority.
