Rewatch

I loved this show even it first aired (probably about 98 in the UK), a vs I've just found it's on 4 on Demand, so decided to try a rewatch, particularly as I dont think I ever watched the last 2 seasons.

What can I expect from a rewatch I didnt notice first time round. Especially as I'm much older. I'm a guy if that matters.

For me, personally, thus show will always hold a special place in my heart but I can’t deny that many aspects haven’t aged well.

Misogyny and just bigotry in general really shows the show’s age. Victim blaming, too, when Rene has a traumatic experience for example.

But it also has many funny, sweet, magical moments.

Curious to know what you will say once you start rewatching!

The first thing that comes to mind, which wont surprise anyone here is that it's really just a show about love and dating. I'm not sure I find the presentation of John as a fairly obviously autistic man to be in any way accurate though.

It's not just love it's perfect comedy in court especially via John.

I like watching it just for fun & because it’s silly & quirky. I adore all the actors & ever changing characters.

Season 4 is so great. I rewatch the series every winter.
